Does Zappify 2.0 work on mosquitoes?
It may kill insects that are attracted to the light and make contact with the grid. That mechanism does not establish that it will draw enough mosquitoes away from people to reduce bites.

How long does the battery last?
The seller’s published runtime claims conflict. Its FAQ says “up to 13 hours” per charge. An Access Newswire advertorial dated January 5, 2026 reports other seller figures of 15 hours in zapper mode and 20 hours in lantern mode, and says it could not determine which figure is accurate. What to use if you want fewer mosquito bites
CDC home guidance recommends EPA-registered insect repellents for bite prevention, removing or covering standing-water containers weekly, and using screens and closed doors to keep mosquitoes out. For traps, CDC surveillance guidance describes attractants such as carbon dioxide, human-scent lure, and octenol. Surveillance traps are not necessarily consumer bite-prevention devices, but these attractants illustrate why light alone should not be assumed to work like a targeted mosquito trap.
