What does the acquisition mean for West Michigan customers?
Customers retain a Muskegon manufacturing location and the workforce familiar with Bush’s products and service territory. Wieser’s larger portfolio could provide access to additional manufacturing capabilities or product categories, but the companies have not published a schedule of product additions, equipment investments, service-area changes or pricing changes.
For an active project, buyers should confirm the legal seller name on quotes and invoices, current lead times, delivery arrangements, engineering submittals and warranty contacts directly with the Muskegon operation. Existing specifications should not be assumed to change solely because the brand changes.

Why is the timing relevant to precast concrete?
The National Precast Concrete Association’s February 2026 outlook forecasts approximately $2.2 trillion in U.S. construction put in place during 2026, up 1% after a slight decline in 2025. It forecasts sewage and waste-disposal construction rising 8% to about $56 billion, water-supply construction rising 5% to about $37 billion and transportation construction rising 3% to about $71 billion.
Those are industry forecasts, not Bush or Wieser sales results. They nevertheless provide context for a deal involving septic tanks, manholes, catch basins and other underground products: infrastructure and institutional work are segments the association expects to have relatively durable funding. Wieser’s expanded footprint may position it to serve those markets across more regions, although no post-acquisition sales targets have been announced.
