The available sources do not establish the internal wire positions for a Black & Decker 7190 Type 2 drill. Do not reconnect wires by color or copy a diagram for another type. Find the diagram for the exact model and type through BLACK+DECKER’s parts lookup before attempting a repair. The “AC” in the original query is ambiguous; the model listings identify the 7190 Type 2 as a drill, not an air conditioner.
Confirm the tool and its exact type
Repair Clinic and PartSelect list model 7190 Type 2 as a Black & Decker drill. Check the tool’s nameplate and confirm both the model number and type before looking for parts or wiring information. The model listing alone does not confirm the identity of a tool whose label says something different.

How to find the matching diagram
- Read the model and type from the drill’s nameplate.
- Follow BLACK+DECKER’s instructions to search Toolservicenet.com by model, select the item, then enter the type number to reach the applicable diagram and manual PDF. See BLACK+DECKER’s parts-list and manual lookup instructions.
- Check that the result matches both the model and Type 2 before relying on it for the repair.
Why a parts diagram is not enough to place wires
The available 7190 Type 2 listings and parts diagrams do not establish which internal wires connect to which terminals. A parts diagram can help identify components, but it is not proof of electrical connections. Wire colors, generic drill diagrams, and diagrams for a different type number are not safe substitutes for a type-specific wiring diagram.

The manufacturer-hosted Form 386869 manual names the 7190 among a family of drills and covers operating instructions and safety. It is dated February 1998, but it is not a retrieved Type 2 internal wiring diagram, so it cannot verify wire placement: Form 386869 manual.

Repair Clinic lists parts for the 7190/Type 2, including power cord part 330073-96. That listing does not show that a power cord is the cause of a wiring problem, establish which part your tool needs, or confirm compatibility for a particular repair. Verify any candidate component against the exact type-specific diagram before ordering.
