What eufy Cameras Are Compatible With HomeBase 2?

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

HomeBase 2 compatibility is model-specific. eufy’s current compatibility guide lists selected eufyCam, SoloCam, outdoor, and indoor models—not every camera that works in the eufy Security app. The safest way to buy is to match the camera’s exact T-model number, not just its retail name.

HomeBase 2-compatible cameras at a glance

The following models are listed by eufy as compatible with HomeBase 2. Names and model suffixes can vary by region, so verify the exact product code before ordering.

Indoor cameras

Camera Model number HomeBase 2 status
Indoor Cam S350 T8416 Compatible
Indoor Cam E30 T8417 Compatible

An indoor camera can work directly over Wi-Fi and appear in the eufy Security app without connecting to HomeBase 2. Those are different claims: app compatibility does not automatically mean HomeBase 2 compatibility.

Are eufyCam 2, 2C, 2 Pro, and 2C Pro compatible?

Yes. These are the clearest established choices for expanding an existing HomeBase 2 system:

  • eufyCam 2: T8114
  • eufyCam 2C: T8113 or T8113-v
  • eufyCam 2 Pro: T8140 or T8140R
  • eufyCam 2C Pro: T8142 or T8142R

When buying used or from a third-party retailer, check whether the listing is for an add-on camera or a complete kit, and confirm the T-model number. A similar product name is not enough.

Are eufyCam 3, eufyCam 3C, and S3 Pro compatible?

According to eufy’s current guide, yes:

  • eufyCam 3 / S330: T8160
  • eufyCam 3C / S300: T8161
  • eufyCam S3 Pro: T8162

This is worth checking carefully because older eufy documentation may describe some newer generations as incompatible with earlier HomeBase hardware. The current guide marks these models as compatible with HomeBase 2, but that published listing is not the same as an independent test. Verify the exact regional SKU, firmware requirements, and whether the product is sold as an add-on before purchasing.

The eufyCam E40 is a particularly clear option

The eufyCam E40, model T8144, is listed as HomeBase 2-compatible, and eufy also sells an E40 two-camera kit specifically labeled with HomeBase 2. Make sure you select the HomeBase 2 bundle rather than a visually similar package bundled with HomeBase S380/HomeBase 3. Product names and bundles can vary by market; see eufy’s E40 product page.

eufy’s current guide also marks these models as incompatible with HomeBase 2:

How to verify a camera before buying

  1. Find the T-model number. Look on the product box, product page, camera label, or specifications. It normally begins with “T.”
  2. Compare it with eufy’s current compatibility guide. Do not rely only on names such as S330, S300, E40, or S3 Pro.
  3. Check the bundle. Confirm whether you are buying an add-on camera or a complete kit and identify which HomeBase is included.
  4. Check the market and suffix. Regional versions can use suffixes such as T8113-v, T8140R, or T8142R.
  5. Confirm unusual or newer models with eufy. This is especially sensible for the S3 Pro, eufyCam 3/3C, and recently introduced products.

eufy’s compatibility guide is hosted on a German support domain, while product pages may be specific to the United States or another market. Availability, names, bundles, and model suffixes can differ by country.

How to add a compatible camera to HomeBase 2

  1. Connect HomeBase 2 to power and Ethernet.
  2. Open the eufy Security app and select Add Device. The exact wording or location may vary slightly by app version and region.
  3. Choose the relevant camera category and model.
  4. Follow the pairing instructions shown in the app.
  5. If it is an add-on camera, confirm that it is not still bound to another HomeBase or eufy account.
  6. Install available firmware updates for the app, HomeBase, and camera.

If discovery fails, move the camera close to HomeBase 2, reset it according to its model-specific manual, and retry. If the exact model is not listed in the app or compatibility guide, do not assume that resetting will make it work.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3?

Keep HomeBase 2 when you are expanding with one of the established compatible families—particularly eufyCam 2, 2C, 2 Pro, or 2C Pro—or when the exact camera you want is explicitly listed for HB2.

Consider HomeBase 3 instead if you are building a new system, want access to cameras such as the C35, S4, E330, or C37, or cannot find a suitable HomeBase 2-compatible model. HomeBase 3 is a broader-compatibility alternative, but individual cameras can still have separate requirements for storage, migration, HomeKit, and features. Check the compatibility schedule for the specific camera rather than treating the hub as a universal guarantee.

HomeBase compatibility is not the same as HomeKit compatibility

A camera can be compatible with HomeBase 2 without being compatible with Apple Home/HomeKit. eufy’s HomeKit support page identifies HomeKit support for the eufyCam 2, 2 Pro, 2C, and 2C Pro families connected to HomeBase 2, but that is a separate and narrower compatibility list. See eufy’s HomeKit support information before buying for Apple Home integration.

Compatibility information reflects eufy’s published guide available in August 2026. eufy can add support, retire products, or change regional listings, so confirm the exact SKU immediately before purchase.
