Archive note: These were historical Walmart Labor Day sale prices reported on August 31, 2024. Walmart advertised the event as ending Monday, September 2, 2024, so none of the prices below should be treated as current offers.

The original deal report covered 25 selected products across Apple devices, coffee makers, kitchen appliances, vacuums, TVs, a laptop and an ice maker. One important correction: its introduction described the M1 MacBook Air as costing $169, but the actual deal entry listed it at $649 rather than $999. This guide uses the $649 figure and does not repeat the contradictory $169 claim. TechRadar’s original report is the primary source for the archived prices and product list.

Best Walmart Labor Day 2024 deals at a glance

Product Sale price Claimed regular price Best for Main caveat
Apple MacBook Air M1 $649 $999 Basic school and office computing Older generation; 8GB RAM and 256GB storage
Dyson V12 Detect Slim $449.99 $649.99 Premium lightweight cordless cleaning Much pricier than alternatives
Ninja Creami $149 $199 Homemade frozen desserts Requires advance freezing and freezer space
Keurig K-Express $38.30 $79.99 Low-cost single-serve coffee Ongoing K-Cup expense
Ninja 4-quart Air Fryer $69 $89 Small kitchens Limited batch capacity
Apple AirPods 2 $89 $159 Inexpensive earbuds for iPhone users No active noise cancellation
TCL 65-inch Q6 QLED TV $348 $699.99 Large-screen value 2023 model
Samsung DU6900 75-inch TV $568 $699.99 Large current-generation budget TV Budget panel and feature set
Lenovo IdeaPad 1 $299.99 $339 Web, school and office tasks Exact Ryzen generation was not specified

These are editorial rankings based on reported price, product age, usefulness and likely buyer risk—not independent hands-on test results. “Record-low,” “unbeatable” and similar language belongs to the original deal coverage unless independently verified.

Best Apple deals

Apple AirTag — $24.99

The one-pack AirTag was $5 above the original article’s claimed lowest-ever price and suited shoppers tracking keys, luggage or bags through Apple’s ecosystem. It was a poor match for Android-only households or buyers who did not want ecosystem dependence. The archived Walmart listing is available for historical reference at Walmart’s AirTag page.

AirPods 2 — $89

At $89 versus a claimed $159 regular price, AirPods 2 were an inexpensive entry point for iPhone users. They lack active noise cancellation and newer convenience features, so shoppers wanting stronger isolation, newer microphones or advanced controls should look at a newer AirPods model instead. Apple’s current product range is at Apple’s AirPods page.

Apple Watch SE 2 GPS — $189

The second-generation GPS Apple Watch SE was listed at $189 versus $239.99. It was a lower-cost smartwatch for iPhone owners, not an equivalent to flagship Apple Watch models with more advanced health sensors. The listing was GPS-only; buyers needing cellular service would have required a different configuration. See Apple’s Watch range for model comparisons.

MacBook Air M1 — $649

The deal entry reported $649, reduced from $999, for an M1 MacBook Air with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The introduction’s separate $169 price appears to be an editorial error. The M1 was already an older, discontinued-generation platform by 2024, but it remained suitable for general school, office and web work. Buyers needing newer performance, more ports, more storage, gaming capability or upgrade flexibility should not compare it casually with newer M2, M3 or M4 models. The archived Walmart configuration was identified as 8GB/256GB MacBook Air M1.

Coffee makers: cheap machines, continuing pod costs

Keurig K-Express — $38.30

This compact single-serve K-Cup machine was one of the strongest low-dollar offers, falling from a claimed $79.99 to $38.30. It made sense for fast individual servings, but the machine price did not include the long-term cost of K-Cups. See the archived Walmart K-Express listing.

Keurig K-Slim + Iced — $78

The K-Slim + Iced was listed at $78 versus $129.99 and added support for hot and iced drinks. “Iced” should not be confused with a full cold-brew system: the result depends on brewing method, ice and dilution. Keurig and Nespresso capsules are not interchangeable.

Nespresso Vertuo Plus — $127

The Vertuo Plus by Breville was $127 against a claimed $169 regular price. It suited shoppers who preferred Nespresso’s espresso-style and larger capsule drinks. It used Nespresso Vertuo capsules, not K-Cups, and the original report did not compare pod costs, brew quality, warranty coverage or reusable-filter options. Nespresso’s current machine information is at Nespresso’s Vertuo page.

Ninja kitchen deals

Ninja 4-quart Air Fryer — $69

The AF100WM was listed at $69, down from $89. Its 4-quart capacity fit small kitchens and one- or two-person households, but it was less suitable for family-size batches or shoppers wanting simultaneous cooking in dual baskets. The archived product page is Walmart’s Ninja AF100WM listing.

Ninja Air Fryer Pro, 5 Qt, 4-in-1, Grey, AF141
  • AIR CRISP TECHNOLOGY: 400℉ superheated air surrounds food for hot, crispy results with little to no oil.
  • 4-IN-1 FUNCTIONALITY: Features 4 customizable cooking functions—Air Fry, Roast, Reheat, and Dehydrate for maximum versatility. A powerful1750-watt air fryer that’s built for everyday use.
  • LARGE CAPACITY: The 5-QT nonstick basket and crisper plate fit up to 4 lbs of French fries or 5 lbs of chicken wings.
  • GUILT-FREE FRIED FOODS: Up to 75% less fat than traditional air frying methods. Tested against hand-cut, deep-fried French fries.
  • FROZEN TO CRISPY: Cook frozen foods in just minutes for an extra-crispy finish.

Ninja Creami — $149

The NC300 fell from a claimed $199 to $149. TechRadar’s August deals archive also recorded a $50 Walmart promotion for the Creami during the sale period, supporting $149 as a meaningful historical promotion. TechRadar’s August 2024 archive provides that context.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The Creami was for ice cream, sorbet, milkshakes and mix-ins, but it was not an instant dessert machine. Bases had to be prepared and frozen in advance, and owners needed freezer space, pint containers and tolerance for noise and cleanup. The archived NC300 listing is at Walmart’s Ninja Creami page.

Vacuum and floor-care deals

Dyson V12 Detect Slim — $449.99

The V12 Detect Slim was the premium cordless option at $449.99 versus a claimed $649.99. Its lightweight design and dust-illumination feature appealed to shoppers who wanted easier daily cleaning, but the price was substantially higher than the Shark and Bissell choices. Buyers should also consider battery replacement, bin size, runtime and filter costs. The archived listing is Walmart’s Dyson V12 page; Dyson’s current cordless range is at Dyson’s cordless vacuum page.

Shark Pet Pro cordless stick — $197

At $197 versus $329, the Shark Pet Pro was a lower-cost cordless alternative for flexible cleaning and detachable handheld use. Pet owners should check the brush-roll design and included tools rather than assuming every “pet” model handles hair equally well.

Shark IQ Robot Vacuum — $268

The Shark IQ Robot was listed at $268 against $499.99 and included mapping, app and voice control plus an anti-hair-wrap brush. Robot-vacuum value depends heavily on navigation reliability, replacement parts, battery support, dock features and whether software functions continue to work as expected—not merely the headline discount.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Bissell cleaners — $69 to $149

The Bissell Pet Stain Eraser Plus was $69, the Little Green was $88 and the Pet Hair Eraser Turbo upright was $149. The two portable cleaners were designed for localized spills, upholstery and car interiors, not as replacements for a full-size carpet extractor. The upright was the more appropriate choice for whole-floor vacuuming.

Onson robot vacuum/mop — $94.95

The Onson robot vacuum/mop stood out for its unusually low reported price against a claimed $359.99 regular price. That made seller and support checks especially important: verify the marketplace seller, return handling, warranty, replacement brushes, filters, battery availability and app or cloud-service dependence before buying. The original report did not provide comparative testing of suction, runtime, noise or navigation reliability.

Best TV deals

Small and budget TVs

The onn. 32-inch LED Roku TV was $88 versus $144, making it a bedroom or secondary-room television rather than a primary home-theater choice. The TCL 50-inch 4 Series 4K TV was $198 versus $228, while the Hisense R6 58-inch Roku TV was $238 versus $338. The Hisense was explicitly a 2020 model, so its clearance-style price should not be compared directly with newer televisions.

Large budget screens

The TCL 65-inch Q6 QLED TV was $348 versus $699.99. It was a 2023 model and one of the more compelling large-screen value picks in the list, although buyers should still check brightness, refresh rate and gaming features instead of relying on “QLED” alone.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The Samsung DU6900 75-inch 4K TV was $568 versus $699.99. It was identified as a 2024 model and offered a newer large-screen option, but a bigger screen is not automatically better if viewing distance, room brightness or picture quality matters more than size.

OLED and home theater

The LG B4 55-inch OLED was $1,196.99 versus $1,699, and the Samsung S95C 77-inch OLED was $2,742 versus $4,499. OLED generally offers stronger contrast than budget LED televisions and can be attractive for gaming and movie viewing, but it costs more and may be less suitable for rooms with heavy sunlight. The original deal language used emphatic terms such as “unheard of” and “unbeatable”; those are promotional descriptions, not independently verified price-history findings.

For current product specifications, consult the manufacturers’ pages for TCL, Hisense, Samsung and LG.

Laptop and miscellaneous deals

Lenovo IdeaPad 1 — $299.99

The 15.6-inch Lenovo IdeaPad 1 was listed at $299.99 versus $339, with an AMD Ryzen processor, 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. That configuration was appropriate for basic web, school and office work, but not necessarily demanding creative workloads or gaming. The visible deal copy did not identify the exact Ryzen generation, so the SKU should be verified before making a processor-performance comparison.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Simzlife countertop ice maker — $59.99

The Simzlife machine was listed at $59.99 versus $129.99, with a claimed 26-pound daily ice capacity. That figure is a manufacturer-style capacity claim, not a guarantee of continuously available ice: output depends on ambient conditions, water temperature, cycle time and storage capacity.

Which deals were actually worth buying?

  1. Best overall value: Keurig K-Express. At $38.30, the discount was substantial and the use case was clear. Skip it if recurring pod costs outweigh the convenience of single-serve brewing.
  2. Best premium cleaning pick: Dyson V12 Detect Slim. It offered a lighter premium cordless format, but the Shark alternatives were more compelling for shoppers prioritizing price.
  3. Best kitchen novelty with real utility: Ninja Creami. The $149 price was meaningful for people willing to freeze bases and manage the extra preparation. It was a poor fit for instant-dessert expectations.
  4. Best compact cooking pick: Ninja 4-quart Air Fryer. The $69 price worked for small households; larger families needed more capacity.
  5. Best inexpensive Apple accessory: AirPods 2. The $89 price was attractive for iPhone owners who did not need active noise cancellation.
  6. Best large-screen budget TV: TCL 65-inch Q6. The reported $348 price was compelling, but the 2023 model year and unverified panel performance mattered.
  7. Best large current-generation TV: Samsung DU6900. The 2024 model offered a newer 75-inch option, though shoppers should compare brightness and gaming specifications rather than screen size alone.
  8. Best basic laptop: MacBook Air M1 at $649. It was credible at the body price, not the contradictory $169 teaser. Its age, limited storage and 8GB RAM made it a targeted value purchase rather than a universal recommendation.

What to check before trusting an archived Walmart deal

  • Seller and fulfillment: Check whether the item was sold and shipped by Walmart or a marketplace seller.
  • Condition: Confirm new, refurbished or open-box status.
  • Total price: Add shipping and check whether pickup, membership or a particular fulfillment method was required.
  • Returns and warranty: Verify the applicable return window and warranty provider, especially for TVs, Apple hardware and marketplace appliances.
  • Model details: Confirm storage, connectivity, model year, panel type, operating system and exact processor SKU.
  • Ownership costs: Budget for coffee pods, vacuum filters and batteries, robot-vacuum parts and additional Creami containers.
  • Availability: Sale inventory could have sold out before the advertised September 2 end date, and regional availability may have differed.

Because this event ended in 2024, use the list for historical price context rather than as a live shopping page. For current availability, begin with Walmart’s relevant category pages and then compare the exact model, seller, condition, warranty and delivered price.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these Walmart Labor Day prices still available?

No. They were reported on August 31, 2024, for a sale advertised to end September 2, 2024. Treat them as historical reference prices only.

What was the correct MacBook Air M1 sale price?

The deal entry listed the 8GB/256GB M1 MacBook Air at $649, reduced from $999. The article’s separate $169 teaser appears to be an error.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Which coffee system was cheaper to own long term?

The dossier does not provide pod-price or brew-cost comparisons. Keurig and Nespresso also use incompatible capsule ecosystems, so compare ongoing pod costs before choosing.

Was the Onson robot vacuum a safe bargain?

Its $94.95 price was unusually low, but buyers would need to verify the marketplace seller, warranty, returns, replacement parts, battery support and app reliability.

The Bottom Line

The strongest archived values were the Keurig K-Express at $38.30, Ninja Creami at $149, Ninja 4-quart Air Fryer at $69, AirPods 2 at $89, Dyson V12 at $449.99 and TCL 65-inch Q6 at $348. But these were August–September 2024 prices, not live deals. Check current Walmart listings carefully, and do not rely on discount language or the erroneous $169 MacBook claim.
