Design and everyday usability
The slim body is intended to take up little storage space, and the stainless-steel weighing surface can be wiped clean. The manual describes an ABS frame and a hanging hook, so the entire scale should not be mistaken for stainless steel. A metal-looking surface does not make the device waterproof: keep liquid away from the housing and do not submerge it.

A bowl can obscure a compact scale’s display, so check that you can still read the screen with the containers you normally use. The manual describes a backlit LCD, but it does not establish how easy the screen is to see from every angle or in every kitchen. - Open the battery compartment underneath and insert two AAA batteries, matching the polarity markings.
- Set the scale on a hard, flat, stable surface with all feet supported.
- Press ON/OFF and wait for the display to show zero.
- Press UNIT to select the units you need.
- Place an empty bowl or container on the platform.
- Press ZERO/TARE to zero the display with the container in place.
- Add the ingredient and read the displayed weight. To add another ingredient separately, press ZERO/TARE again before adding it.

How to check repeatability at home
A display that changes in 1 g steps does not prove the measurement is accurate to 1 g. The available product materials state capacity and resolution but provide no tolerance or independent test results. You can check whether your scale behaves consistently without presenting the exercise as a calibration or certification:

- Place one object on the platform, note the reading, remove it, and repeat until you have five readings.
- Try several loads within the scale’s rated range—for example, a small ingredient, a 500 g reference and a 1 kg reference. Treat the reference values as useful only if you know their weights independently.
- After each removal and after a tare operation, check whether the display returns to zero.
- Check whether placing the same object at different points on the platform changes the reading. If available, compare with a trusted scale or suitable reference weight.
Look for consistent repeat readings, zero return and a stable display. This consumer check cannot establish a formal accuracy tolerance. The specification source is the mirrored manual.

Wipe the platform with a slightly damp cloth and dry it promptly after spills.
