Where is the project located?
The facility will front Pooler Parkway on a site between Interstate 80 and Interstate 16. That position gives the project direct visibility from a major Pooler arterial and convenient connections toward communities throughout the Savannah metropolitan area. Third Lake Development also cites the site’s proximity to residential neighborhoods and dining destinations as part of the location rationale.
For storage customers, access from both interstate corridors could make the facility practical for residents moving within the region, households needing temporary space and local businesses seeking nearby inventory storage. The announcement does not specify operating hours, access technology or the number of vehicle-access lanes.

Why Third Lake says Pooler needs more storage

What has not been announced yet
The October 15 announcement confirms the groundbreaking, planned size, unit count, location and project team, but it does not provide several details prospective customers and nearby residents may want:
- No opening date or construction-completion schedule has been stated.
- Project cost, financing and overall development budget have not been disclosed.
- The future operating company or facility manager has not been named.
- Rental rates, reservation timing, access hours and move-in policies are not available.
- Specific security systems, insurance requirements, parking arrangements and ancillary services have not been described beyond the planned climate-controlled, secure units.
Those details may emerge in later construction updates or leasing materials. Until then, the project should be treated as planned capacity rather than an operating storage option.
When will Centro Storage at Pooler Parkway open?
Third Lake Development has not announced an opening date for Centro Storage at Pooler Parkway. Breaking ground marks the start of construction, but the available announcement does not establish a delivery quarter or year.
