As of the available 2026 listing information, the old “now down to $260” wording should not be read as a live deal. Dyson’s U.S. outlet listing showed a certified refurbished V7 Advanced at $249.99, subject to stock at checkout. Walmart’s indexed new listing showed $299.99 but was out of stock; its restored/refurbished listing showed $249.99 and was also out of stock. The handheld conversion and accessory set suit stairs, cars, furniture, and spot cleaning; the compact bin means more frequent emptying than a larger-capacity vacuum. Dyson says its whole-machine filtration captures 99.97% of microscopic dust particles as small as 0.3 microns. That is a manufacturer claim, not a medical guarantee. Retailer copy has also used a 99.99% figure in Boost mode, but the differing claims and contexts should not be treated as directly comparable.
Runtime is not the same as a 40-minute cleaning session
Dyson lists a maximum runtime of up to 40 minutes, but that headline figure does not describe every attachment or mode. Its V7 Advanced page gives these mode-specific figures:

New, certified refurbished, restored, or used: check the terms
Condition changes the value of a V7 as much as the sticker price. Dyson says its certified refurbished machines are inspected, cleaned, and tested, with genuine replacement parts fitted where needed. That does not mean every unit is cosmetically like new or has a new battery. The V7 Advanced outlet page specifies a six-month parts-and-labor warranty and says refurbished sales are final. By comparison, Best Buy’s listing for a new V7 Advanced Origin described a two-year parts-and-labor warranty, but that product is no longer available new there. Warranty and return rights depend on the actual seller and condition; do not transfer one listing’s terms to another.
For a marketplace, restored, open-box, or used unit, look for written answers about battery performance, battery authenticity, return eligibility after testing, and coverage for battery replacement or installation. The available listings do not establish a current U.S. replacement-battery price, so factor the possibility of a replacement into your decision without assuming a specific cost.

Who should consider a V7 Advanced?
A V7 Advanced can make sense near $250–$260 if you want a lightweight secondary vacuum for a smaller home, quick cleanups, stairs, a car, upholstery, hard floors, or low-to-medium-pile carpet—and can verify the unit’s condition and terms. Its Motorbar is designed for carpets and hard floors, and its hair-removal vanes may help with tangled hair, but results depend on hair type, surface, maintenance, and battery health.

- Match the model. Confirm the exact model number, floor head, color or regional edition, and accessories. Best Buy identifies V7 Advanced Origin as model 419673-01; “V7,” “V7 Advanced,” “V7 Advanced Origin,” and “V7 Animal” should not be assumed to be identical.
- Confirm condition and seller. Check whether the unit is new, Dyson certified refurbished, retailer-restored, open-box, or used, and identify who actually sells it.
