The advertised “up to 60% off” Black Friday saving is not verified by the available offer information. Treat it as a claim, not a current deal: check a live listing for the exact model and compare its price with a dated prior price before buying. Manufacturer pages offer useful steam-mop examples, but their displayed prices are snapshots—not confirmed Black Friday prices.
Is a steam mop really up to 60% off this Black Friday?
No verified, dated retailer offer establishes that steam mops are currently up to 60% off. Deal guides have referred to 2026 offers despite showing 2025 publication dates, and do not substantiate a live discount for a specific model and retailer. See the guides at Tom’s Guide and TechRadar; neither is proof of an available offer.
Before treating a listing as a bargain, confirm the exact model, retailer, current price, comparison price and dates. Check shipping, stock and sale terms too. A percentage-off badge alone does not establish what you will pay or whether the comparison price is meaningful.
Compare the type of steam mop with the work you need done
For a straightforward floor-cleaning tool, compare a basic steam mop with a convertible model only if you expect to use its handheld form or attachments. The examples below reflect manufacturer descriptions, not independent head-to-head cleaning tests. Prices shown on manufacturer pages are snapshots and may change.

| Model | Manufacturer-listed design and features | Price shown on manufacturer page |
|---|---|---|
| Shark Steam Mop S1000 | Basic steam mop with a removable water tank and washable pads. Shark also makes a bacteria-removal claim; consult the product page for its qualifications. | $59.99 |
| BLACK+DECKER HSM13E1 | Corded classic steam mop; manufacturer says it is ready in 30 seconds and intended for sealed surfaces. | Not stated on the cited product page. |
| BLACK+DECKER HSMC1321 | Convertible mop and handheld unit, with SmartSelect steam control and a stated 20-second heat-up. Manufacturer lists sealed-surface use and a two-year limited warranty. | Not stated on the cited product page. |
| BLACK+DECKER 7-in-1 HSMC1361SGP | Convertible design with a SteamGlove and attachments for specified sealed surfaces. | Not stated on the cited product page. |
Shark’s US product page lists the S1000 at $59.99 and four other models from $59.99 to $179.99; the range is a page snapshot, not a sale guarantee. BLACK+DECKER’s category page lists models starting at $39.00+ and $99.00+. Those category listings do not establish a Black Friday price for any particular model. Compare the exact unit and current offer on the Shark S1000 page and BLACK+DECKER steam-mop category.
Check surface suitability and the cost of ownership
Do not assume a steam mop is appropriate for every floor. BLACK+DECKER describes the cited models for sealed surfaces, and the 7-in-1 model lists particular sealed surfaces for its attachments. Check the instructions for the exact appliance and the flooring manufacturer’s care guidance before using steam; a broad label such as “floor mop” is not a universal surface approval.

Compare the practical details that affect your use, rather than treating feature counts as proof of cleaning performance:
- Tank: Check capacity and whether it is removable; Shark lists a removable tank for the S1000.
- Controls: HSMC1321 includes BLACK+DECKER’s SmartSelect steam control.
- Heat-up: The stated 20 seconds for HSMC1321 and 30 seconds for HSM13E1 are manufacturer claims, not independent measurements.
- Attachments: Convertible models may suit users who want handheld cleaning, but verify the included tools and the surfaces each is intended for.
- Pads and ongoing cost: BLACK+DECKER identifies SMP20 as a replacement cleaning pad for the HSMC1321 product page. Confirm that the part fits the exact unit and is available at a reasonable total cost.
- Warranty: BLACK+DECKER lists a two-year limited warranty for HSMC1321; check the applicable terms for the specific seller and region.
See the manufacturer listings for HSMC1321, HSM13E1 and HSMC1361SGP for their stated features and limitations. Manufacturer descriptions and germ-reduction claims are not independent performance findings; do not interpret them as a guarantee of universal disinfection.

How to decide whether the listing is worth buying
- Match the model number. Make sure the sale page and comparison price refer to the same model, not a similar-looking version.
- Check the final price. Include shipping and any other charges, then compare it with a dated price history or prior listing for that model.
- Verify availability and terms. Confirm the item is in stock, the offer dates, return conditions and warranty details before checkout.
- Assess fit, not just savings. Confirm your floor is suitable, decide whether you need a handheld configuration, and check pad compatibility and replacement availability.
BLACK+DECKER’s official category page and Shark’s US product page provide examples of listed models and features, but neither establishes a live Black Friday promotion. Regional listings are not evidence of US availability or pricing. No independent comparison here establishes which model cleans best.
