Spring Home Improvement Inc announced on October 15, 2026, that it is expanding its renovation and construction services to include accessory dwelling unit (ADU) construction in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The company says the service covers planning, design, permitting, construction and final inspection for several ADU formats, including detached units, garage conversions and basement apartments.
What the announcement means for local homeowners
The expansion adds ADUs to Spring Home Improvement Inc’s stated design-build services. An ADU is a secondary residential space on the same property as a primary home. Depending on the site and local rules, it can be attached to the house, built separately, created by converting an existing garage or fitted into a basement.

Permits and local feasibility in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
An ADU is not approved solely because a property has unused space. Local zoning can regulate whether an ADU is allowed, its size, setbacks, height, parking, owner-occupancy conditions, entrances and permitted occupants or uses. - What does the one-year labor warranty cover, and what materials or systems have separate manufacturer warranties?
