Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens’ Texas home is no longer under construction. Biles said the custom residence in Spring, Texas, was completed on November 11, 2025, and the couple moved in after Owens’ 2025 Chicago Bears season ended in February 2026.
The Houston-area property sits beside a man-made lake and has now been shown in stages through Biles’ social-media posts and later home-tour coverage. The public reveals include a marble kitchen and bathroom, a hotel-inspired primary bedroom, a dedicated dog room, two sets of laundry appliances, a pool, outdoor kitchen, sport court and in-ground trampoline.

The original May 2024 PEOPLE construction update showed an unfinished building with new flooring, glass doors and water views. Newer photographs show something different: a finished, occupied home being used for everyday life, entertaining and time with the couple’s dogs.

The home is finished—not still being built
The most important update is the simplest one: Biles’ custom Texas house is complete. According to her timeline reported by Realtor.com, the design process began in 2020. The couple spent time securing HOA approvals, broke ground in February 2022 and finished the residence on November 11, 2025.

That timeline is more precise than the familiar description of the project as a home being built for five years. The five-year frame begins with design work, not continuous visible construction. Some secondary coverage describes the build as beginning in 2023, but Biles’ own timeline places the groundbreaking in February 2022. Public construction updates became more frequent in 2023 and 2024, which may explain the difference in how the dates have been reported.
Biles announced that she had the keys and had closed on the home on November 12, 2025. The couple then spent the remainder of the year showing selected rooms, including the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, dog room and outdoor areas. They shared Christmas content from the finished property in December, and by February 2026 they were settling in after returning from Chicago.
The exact address is not being published. The property is reported to be in Spring, Texas, in the Houston area—not in the city of Houston itself. It is described in coverage as a lakefront or lake-facing home on the edge of a man-made lake.

What the original construction photos revealed
The May 2024 PEOPLE report captured the residence before completion. The images showed black-and-white geometric flooring and tile, hardwood flooring in at least one room, large sliding glass doors and views toward the water.
One room opened toward what appeared to be a patio, while Owens was photographed standing inside the unfinished structure. High ceilings, exposed construction materials and a mix of completed and incomplete surfaces made clear that the project was still in its finishing phase. Biles also documented a so-called trim walk, a walkthrough in which she reviewed details and found items that needed additional attention.
Earlier construction coverage from Architectural Digest also showed or described planned spaces such as a theater, game room, wet bar, balconies and broad sliding-door openings. Those glimpses are useful for understanding the intended layout, but they should not be treated as a complete, independently verified final floor plan. The couple has released selected views rather than a formal architectural tour.
A bright kitchen built for entertaining
The completed kitchen has a mostly white palette with a particularly dramatic focal point: black-and-white veined marble or stone across the countertops and backsplash. The pattern gives the room a stronger visual identity than a conventional all-white kitchen.
- Two large kitchen islands occupy the open layout.
- White cabinetry includes upper cabinets with glass-front sections.
- Gold or brass hardware and fixtures add contrast to the pale cabinetry and dark veining.
- Light wood flooring warms the room.
- The open arrangement connects the kitchen to the larger living and entertaining areas.
Images published by Parade show the finished kitchen in a professional home-tour setting. A later, more personal photograph showed Owens eating breakfast tacos at one of the islands. That image, reported by Realtor.com, was one of the clearest signs that the property had moved from staged reveal to lived-in home.
The primary bathroom combines marble, brass and wellness features
The primary bathroom continues the home’s black, white, gray and metallic design language. Publicly shown details include marble walls, gray-and-white floor tile and a large freestanding soaking tub. Earlier images showed hexagonal elements in the floor tile, along with built-in storage niches.

The bathroom also includes a spacious shower described in coverage as having multiple showerheads, his-and-hers sinks, gold or brass fixtures and a large mirror wall. A frosted or privacy-treated window brings in light without creating a direct view into the room.
Later photographs showed the tub and a bathroom that was still being organized after move-in. The combination of large-format marble, reflective surfaces, brass fittings and a freestanding tub gives the room a hotel-like appearance without requiring an unsupported claim about its size or value.
Coverage also identifies a red-light showerhead, apparently made by HigherDOSE. The company markets its product as combining red and near-infrared light with water filtration. Those are manufacturer claims and should not be presented as established medical benefits.
The primary bedroom was designed to feel like a hotel suite
Biles has said that she wanted the primary bedroom to feel like a luxury hotel. The room shown in 2026 photographs has a muted beige-and-gray palette, a gray marble fireplace and a television mounted above it. Sliding glass doors open toward a private terrace or patio, with sightlines toward the pool and backyard.
Other visible details include:
- A mirrored ceiling.
- A large ceiling fan.
- Remote-controlled drapes that open toward the pool and patio.
- Artwork and plants that make the room feel personal rather than staged.
- Two dog beds positioned near the fireplace in June 2026 images.
Realtor.com’s March 2026 coverage connected the bedroom design to interior designer Diamond Hadley and documented Biles’ explanation of the hotel-inspired concept. A separate bedroom report showed the fireplace, mirrored ceiling, patio access and the room’s connection to the outdoor areas.
The adjoining living room has also appeared in move-in photographs. It contains a large sectional, patterned rug, black coffee table, plants and floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The dogs were photographed resting on the sectional, adding another lived-in detail to a room that had previously been seen mostly as part of the construction and professional-photo coverage.
The most personal rooms are the laundry room, dog room and office
Two washers and two dryers
One of the home’s most practical personalized features is its laundry setup. The laundry room contains two washing machines and two dryers—one set for Biles and one for Owens. Biles explained that the couple often wanted to do laundry on the same day, making separate appliances a functional choice rather than merely a luxury flourish. The detail was reported in Realtor.com’s completion coverage.
A dedicated room for the dogs
The home includes a room specifically for the couple’s dogs. It has black-and-white tile that echoes the pool design, a pet-washing or spa station and built-in food and water bowls. Earlier coverage focused on dogs including Rambo, but the safest description of the finished space is simply the couple’s dedicated dog room.
The pet room is one of the clearest examples of the house being designed around the household’s routines. It also extends the repeated black-and-white pattern beyond the kitchen and pool deck.

An office displaying Biles’ career
Biles’ office has a large marble wall slab, built-in shelving, a desk and guest seating. The room has been shown with framed Sports Illustrated covers and a Gold Over America Tour poster, turning the office into both a workspace and a display of her career.

The home’s exterior is organized around the water-facing backyard. Public photographs and reports show a pool with a spa or pool section, a pool deck with black-and-white tile details, an outdoor kitchen and a covered patio with outdoor television viewing.
Additional outdoor features include:
- An in-ground trampoline overlooking the lake.
- A basketball or sport court with a checkered design.
- Pool and patio areas oriented toward the water.
- A golf cart delivered to the property.
- Sunset views across the man-made lake.
Biles also posted a video of herself doing her first flip in a year on the new trampoline. It is a personal home moment, not evidence of a return to competition or a statement about her athletic future.
The outdoor kitchen, pool and court have become especially important in the more recent images because they show how the property works when people are actually using it. The design is not limited to indoor finishes: the house has multiple areas for eating, exercising, watching television and gathering outside.
New photos show a home that is being used, not just displayed
The November 2025 professional photoshoot, credited in coverage to Rachel Taylor of RaeTay Photography, presented polished images of the kitchen and bathroom. Biles’ own posts then supplied a more informal record of the transition into the house.

By February and March 2026, the public images showed a partially unpacked bathroom, Owens’ breakfast at the kitchen island, Biles’ dog Rambo in the walk-in closet, and personal objects throughout the living areas. December Christmas photos had already shown the couple using the completed property for the holidays.
The newest substantial updates available as of August 10, 2026, came in June and July:
- June 2026: Biles’ Instagram Stories showed breakfast in bed, the television above the bedroom fireplace, two dog beds, the backyard pool, the outdoor kitchen and a sunset over the lake. A Complex summary collected the home-tour details, while an AOL report republishing People coverage covered the breakfast-in-bed images.
- July 2026: Biles hosted an elaborate sleepover and apparent baby-shower-style gathering. Realtor.com’s report showed a decorated entryway, a slumber-soiree sign, breakfast and dessert spreads, a mimosa station, a professional photo booth, a Pilates session on the court and the French bulldogs moving around the event.
The July images are event photographs, not a complete room-by-room architectural tour. Their value is different: they demonstrate that the finished home is being used for entertaining and that its kitchen, court, outdoor areas and other gathering spaces function together.

- Exact location: Spring, Texas, and the Houston area have been reported. The exact address, street and subdivision should remain private.
- Square footage and room count: Some 2024 reporting described the new build as approximately 4,000 square feet with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Those numbers may have been confused with Biles’ older Spring home, so they are not independently confirmed as the final specifications of this residence.
- Price: Stories have called it a $3 million mansion, but no reliable public appraisal, listing, purchase document or builder disclosure has substantiated that figure. Biles and Owens have not publicly confirmed the purchase price or current value.
- Builder and architect: The publicly available home-tour coverage does not establish the complete construction team or contract details.
- Final floor plan: Earlier reports mentioned spaces such as a theater, game room, wet bar and balconies, but the couple has not released a complete final plan confirming every room.
- Property classification: Mansion is entertainment-media shorthand. Custom-built home or lakefront residence is more precise.
Keeping those limits clear matters because social-media photographs can make a home feel fully documented when they actually show only selected rooms and moments.
Where Biles and Owens live now
The couple returned to the Texas residence after Owens’ Chicago Bears season ended and began settling in during February 2026. On March 17, 2026, the Indianapolis Colts officially announced Owens’ signing.
That means their living arrangements are seasonal rather than a simple permanent-move story. They prepared to spend the 2026 NFL season in Indianapolis, but that does not establish that they permanently moved out of Texas or abandoned the custom home. The Texas property remains the residence they built and publicly documented, while Owens’ football schedule can require time elsewhere.
Why the design feels specific to the couple
The strongest story about this house is not an unverified price tag or a list of generic luxury amenities. It is how the visible design choices reflect the couple’s lives:
Recommended Free Tools
- The hotel-inspired bedroom is designed around rest, privacy and views of the pool.
- Two complete laundry setups address a routine Biles and Owens share.
- The dog room gives their pets dedicated washing, feeding and living space.
- The sport court and trampoline connect the property to their athletic identities without turning the house into an unverified private gym.
- The office displays Biles’ Sports Illustrated covers and Gold Over America Tour memorabilia.
- Black-and-white tile and stone details appear repeatedly in the kitchen, pool area and dog room.
- The lake-facing glass doors and outdoor kitchen make the backyard part of the home’s social space.
From the first construction images to the June bedroom update and July sleepover, the public record shows a gradual change: a home that began as a building site became a finished residence with a distinctive material palette, highly customized utility spaces and room for entertaining.
