SEI Group LLC announced on October 5, 2026, that it acquired Greenhome Specialties, Inc., a West Haven, Utah-based insulation installer. Greenhome owner Kyle Tolman will remain president. SEI said the acquisition marks its first entry into Utah; it did not disclose financial terms.
What the acquisition means for SEI in Utah
SEI described the deal as its first entry into Utah. The announcement frames the transaction as part of the company’s growth strategy, but it does not detail how SEI plans to integrate Greenhome or whether the acquisition will change the company’s name, services, or day-to-day operations.

What Greenhome does
Founded in 2011, Greenhome is based in West Haven, Utah. It installs fiberglass, spray foam, and other insulation products for single-family and multifamily residential projects, as well as light-commercial new construction. The company says it serves the greater Salt Lake City area and several surrounding states.

SEI’s reported footprint and portfolio
In its October 5, 2026 announcement, SEI said it had acquired 17 businesses since its February 2021 recapitalization with Quad-C Management and operated 45 branches across 14 states. These are figures reported by SEI, not independently verified metrics.
SEI is a portfolio company of Quad-C Management, Inc. Its specialty building products include insulation, shelving, mirrors, shower doors, gutters, and garage doors.

- If you want to open your windows in the warmer months, you'll need to take it off. Otherwise, sunlight and normal stress can also make the tape fail eventually. For a good seal, it's probably best to re-apply them every year.
What has not been disclosed
SEI did not disclose the purchase price or financing structure. Its announcement also did not specify an integration plan or describe operational changes beyond Tolman continuing as Greenhome’s president. The announcement was issued from Doraville, Georgia.
