The range spans compact residential lawns, complex and sloped yards, large properties and commercial grounds.
The launch’s central promise is wire-free, “drop-and-mow” operation, but that does not mean zero setup. Owners still need to map mowing areas, create no-go zones, plan routes between lawn sections and maintain the mower’s charging and navigation systems.

What Navimow announced at CES 2026
Navimow announced the expanded lineup on January 6, 2026, ahead of its CES debut at booth 9615A in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall. The company said the new range was designed for both residential and commercial mowing. Navimow’s announcement initially listed U.S. prices for four models and said additional pricing and channel information would follow.
It is more accurate to describe this as five new product families than as one uniform mower line. Secondary coverage counted the launch differently: Tom’s Guide reported eight residential and commercial models, while T3 described nine mowers. The difference may reflect model variants or counting conventions, so the family-by-family distinctions are more useful than a headline model count.

What is different from Navimow’s earlier range?
Navimow’s existing catalog still includes older i1 and X3 models, so the CES announcement should not be confused with a complete replacement of every mower the company sells. The 2026 additions broaden the range in several important ways:
- More all-wheel-drive choices: AWD models target slopes, roots, uneven ground and areas where wheel slip is a concern.
- Solid-state LiDAR: The i2 LiDAR and H2 add LiDAR-based sensing to the navigation options.
- More sensor combinations: The H2 combines LiDAR, vision and Network RTK rather than relying on one positioning method.
- Less physical installation: Several models emphasize Network RTK, vision or visual-inertial odometry instead of a separately installed positioning antenna.
- Larger capacity: The X4 extends the residential range toward properties of roughly one to 1.5 acres.
- Commercial coverage: Terranox gives the brand a dedicated commercial-oriented family.
- More computer vision: Navimow promotes 360-degree vision and AI obstacle detection, including a claim of detection for more than 200 obstacle types on some models.
These are product-positioning and manufacturer claims, not independent performance test results.

i2 AWD: traction in a compact package
The i2 AWD uses Network RTK and vision rather than the LiDAR-based stack promoted for the i2 LiDAR and H2. Its compact three-wheel-drive design is intended for smaller and mid-size yards, with Navimow claiming operation on slopes up to 45% or 24 degrees. The third-wheel pivot is designed to reduce turf damage during turns.
AWD can be useful on sloped or uneven ground, but it cannot overcome muddy soil, poor drainage, a dangerous drop-off or a transition that is too abrupt for the mower.
i2 LiDAR: for shaded and complex smaller yards
The i2 LiDAR adds solid-state LiDAR to vision navigation. That combination is aimed at yards with tree cover, narrow paths and boundaries that may be harder to manage using satellite positioning and visual landmarks alone.
Navimow also promotes 200-plus obstacle avoidance and its GeoSketch feature, which creates a three-dimensional-style lawn map. Those features may reduce mapping friction, but obstacle detection is not a guarantee that the mower will identify every thin, dark, low or partially concealed object.

H2: multi-sensor navigation for complicated layouts
The H2 uses what Navimow calls EFLS LiDAR+, combining LiDAR, vision and Network RTK. The appeal is redundancy: if one source of positioning is less reliable under trees, near structures or through narrow passages, the mower has other sensors to help maintain its map and route.
The trade-off is greater system complexity and a higher price than the smaller i2 AWD models. Buyers should confirm the exact H2 model, capacity, connectivity terms and included hardware before purchase.
X4: large yards, steep grades and tighter turning
The X4 is the large-residential option. Navimow promotes Xero-Turn AWD, which allows the mower to pivot while attempting to reduce turf tearing. Its presale materials describe tri-frequency Network RTK, vision and visual-inertial odometry, along with a wire-free “drop-and-mow” workflow.
The X4 listing claims slopes up to 84% or 40 degrees and clearance over steps up to 2.8 inches. An 84% grade is approximately 40 degrees; it is not the same as an 84-degree slope. These are maximum manufacturer specifications, not a promise that every lawn will be safe or reliable at those limits. Direction of travel, wet grass, traction, roots and the shape of the slope all matter.

Terranox: the commercial family
Terranox is intended for commercial grounds and more demanding large-property applications. Tom’s Guide reported coverage of up to six acres for the commercial series, but the exact capacity should be checked against the specific Terranox model and its regional availability.
For a commercial property, capacity is only one consideration. Dealer support, spare parts, charging logistics, connectivity and the ability to manage multiple zones may matter more than a headline acreage figure.
What “drop and mow” actually means
Wire-free operation removes the labor of burying or fastening a perimeter cable around the lawn. Depending on the model, Navimow uses combinations of Network RTK, vision, visual-inertial odometry and LiDAR to establish position and understand the mapped area. Some models advertise operation without an external antenna.

The setup has not disappeared; it has moved into the app and the property map. Owners still need to:
- Place the charging station where the mower can approach and depart reliably.
- Map the lawn and verify the digital perimeter.
- Mark flower beds, ponds, retaining walls, play areas and other no-go zones.
- Define paths between separated lawn areas where a route is safe and wide enough.
- Configure schedules, cutting settings and safety features.
- Check cellular coverage and Network RTK availability where applicable.
A poor digital boundary can cause missed strips, repeated attempts to cross an unsuitable surface or entry into a flower bed. A mower can also become trapped behind a gate or at a narrow transition even when the map appears correct.
U.S. pricing and availability
At announcement, Navimow gave these initial U.S. prices:
- i206 AWD: $999.
- i210 AWD: $1,299.

Which Navimow is the practical fit?
For a lawn under 0.25 acre
Start with the i206 AWD or i210 AWD if slopes, roots or wet areas make traction important. For a simple, open lawn, an older or less expensive mower—or a conventional electric mower—may be more economical.

For a shaded or unusually complicated lawn under about 0.4 acre
The i2 LiDAR is the more logical 2026 option because its solid-state LiDAR and vision system are aimed at narrow, shaded and complex layouts.
For a complex residential property
Consider the H2 if the value of combining LiDAR, vision and Network RTK justifies the higher cost. It is particularly relevant where trees, structures, narrow corridors or several boundary types make a single navigation method less attractive.
For one acre or more with slopes
The X4 is the family to examine first. X430 is listed for approximately one acre and X450 for approximately 1.5 acres. Confirm that the usable grass area—not the total lot size—fits the model’s capacity.
For commercial grounds
Terranox is the purpose-built direction, subject to confirming the exact model, local availability, dealer support and service arrangements. Commercial buyers should also assess how the mower handles multiple zones, gates, charging locations and routine maintenance across the site.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Important limitations before buying
Capacity is more than lot size
Use total mowable grass as the first filter. A property advertised as one acre may contain buildings, planting beds, patios and disconnected sections. Charging time, mowing schedules, narrow connectors and the ability to return to the station can make a nominal capacity unsuitable in practice.
Advertised slope limits are not universal operating guarantees
A mower may climb a slope directly but behave differently while crossing it, stopping or turning. Wet grass reduces grip. A slope that ends at a pond, road, wall or drop-off remains hazardous regardless of the mower’s drive system.

Do not rely on obstacle detection alone
Remove toys, hoses, tools, cables and small objects before mowing. Keep children and pets away from operating equipment and treat vision-based detection as an aid rather than a substitute for supervision.
Connectivity affects the experience
Network RTK can reduce the need for a local antenna, but performance may depend on cellular coverage, correction-network availability, obstructions and account or app support. The antenna-free arrangement is model-specific, not a blanket feature of every Navimow mower.
Maintenance remains part of ownership
Expect to clean grass from the deck and wheels, replace blades, inspect charging contacts and traction surfaces, update firmware and the app, and keep no-go zones current. Follow the model-specific manual for winter storage and battery care; exact maintenance intervals vary.

How Navimow compares with other approaches
Navimow’s 2026 strategy sits among several different lawn-care approaches:
- Other wire-free RTK mowers: Products such as Mammotion LUBA also target AWD operation and difficult terrain.
- Established robotic-mower ranges: Husqvarna Automower offers models and installation approaches that vary by market.
- Boundary-wire systems: Worx Landroid may suit smaller lawns and buyers willing to install physical boundary wire.
- Other wire-free options: Ecovacs GOAT is another range to assess by capacity and navigation method.
- Traditional lawn care: A local contractor may be the better fit for severely fragmented lawns, dangerous drop-offs, unreliable connectivity or properties requiring frequent layout changes.
For a very small or irregular lawn, the purchase price, mapping work and maintenance may outweigh the time saved. For a large, regularly shaped property with suitable connectivity, automated mowing can be a more compelling labor-saving investment.
Bottom line
Navimow’s CES 2026 announcement is a significant expansion rather than a single replacement mower. The i2 AWD focuses on compact traction, the i2 LiDAR on smaller complex yards, the H2 on multi-sensor residential navigation, the X4 on large and steep properties, and Terranox on commercial grounds.
The right choice depends first on mowable area, then on slope, shade, narrow passages, obstacles, connectivity and service support. “Drop and mow” eliminates perimeter-wire installation, not planning or ownership responsibilities. Treat the published slope, obstacle and navigation figures as manufacturer specifications, verify current U.S. pricing and availability, and inspect the property’s difficult transitions before committing.
