Seci Construction, Inc. announced on October 23, 2026, that it earned Pella’s Certified Contractor designation for window installation. The family-owned exterior-home-improvement company says it serves New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, and that the credential adds manufacturer-specific training to its broader exterior-construction work. Pella certification signals that a contractor has met stated screening, insurance, licensing, training and installation-audit requirements; it is not, by itself, a guarantee of a particular project’s outcome.
What does Pella Certified Contractor mean?
A Pella Certified Contractor is expected to satisfy program requirements that go beyond simply selling or installing Pella products. Seci’s certification announcement describes the designation as a combination of contractor screening, documentation and continuing installation education.

Seci’s announcement also says fewer than 5% of contractors nationwide hold the designation, but that percentage is a company-published claim rather than an independently verified Pella-wide denominator.

Yes. Seci says it accepts window-only projects, so a homeowner does not have to bundle a replacement with roofing or another exterior renovation. The company also says window work can be coordinated with roofing, siding, masonry and gutter projects when several parts of the building envelope need attention.
Its service materials advertise free estimates and 0% financing for 24 months on qualifying exterior projects. Those terms apply only when a project qualifies, so the written estimate should identify eligibility, total cost, payment schedule and any financing conditions.

What windows does Seci install?

Review flashing and air sealing
Flashing and sealant details affect water resistance and air leakage. The contractor should identify the materials and steps included, along with any repairs required if concealed damage is found after removal.
Inspect operation and finish work
After installation, each sash or panel should operate correctly, lock securely and sit squarely. Interior and exterior trim should be finished without visible gaps, and the contract should state who is responsible for repainting, patching or restoring adjacent siding and masonry.

Does Pella certification guarantee the installation?
No. Certification indicates that the contractor has met the program conditions described above, but it does not eliminate project-specific risks or replace a written contract and warranty. Seci lists drafts, water intrusion or staining, condensation concerns related to air leakage, difficult operation, trim gaps and reduced comfort as possible installation-related symptoms, while noting that each symptom can have other causes.
If a problem appears, document the date, weather conditions, affected opening and photographs, then notify the installer promptly. A professional diagnosis should distinguish an installation defect from ventilation, indoor-humidity, structural or product issues before corrective work is chosen.
