RobotPlusPlus Launches Goko—and Its First Product Is a Wild Robot Lawn Mower

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

RobotPlusPlus has entered the consumer market with Goko, a new brand whose first product is the Goko M6 robotic lawn mower. Unveiled around CES 2026, the M6 is designed for large, steep and uneven residential lawns rather than small, flat suburban gardens. It combines four-wheel drive, adaptive suspension, wire-free navigation and AI camera-based obstacle detection.

The M6 is now orderable through Goko’s official store, but it is not an immediately available, independently proven product. On the store page checked August 16, 2026, shipping was listed in batches beginning in October, with later orders expected from November. The headline performance claims—including operation on slopes up to 42 degrees—remain manufacturer claims awaiting extensive real-world testing.

What RobotPlusPlus launched

Goko is RobotPlusPlus’s consumer-facing robotics brand, and the M6 is its first announced product. RobotPlusPlus has traditionally focused on industrial and commercial robots, including machines used for work at height, surface cleaning and ship-related maintenance. That background is relevant because the M6 is being positioned as a rugged-terrain machine, but industrial robotics experience is not, by itself, proof of long-term reliability in a consumer lawn mower.

The launch was reported in connection with CES 2026 in January. Goko later promoted the mower at spoga+gafa, and its official store subsequently began accepting orders with future shipping batches. The original launch coverage suggested late-spring availability, so the current October and November shipping schedule is the more useful date for prospective buyers.

Why the M6 is unusual

The M6’s pitch is not merely that it eliminates perimeter wire. Goko is combining several features aimed at properties that can challenge conventional robotic mowers:

  • Four-wheel drive for additional traction.
  • Adaptive suspension and front-wheel active steering for uneven ground.
  • A floating cutting deck intended to follow changing terrain.
  • A claimed ability to handle slopes up to 42 degrees, or a 90% grade.
  • Wire-free navigation using RTK positioning and visual navigation.
  • Four AI cameras marketed as QuadVision, including side-facing cameras.
  • App control, mapping and support for multiple mowing zones.
  • Dual-blade cutting, mulching and a claimed obstacle-clearance capability of up to 75 mm.

A 90% grade is approximately 42 degrees; it does not mean the mower can climb a 90-degree vertical wall. More importantly, the advertised maximum should not be treated as a guarantee for every lawn. Surface condition, moisture, loose soil, tire grip, turning space and the shape of the slope all matter.

What lawn sizes does it target?

Launch coverage describes the M6 as suitable for properties from approximately 1,000 to 10,000 square metres—roughly 0.25 to 2.5 acres. The official store gives a more specific battery-related figure:

Configuration Price shown August 16, 2026 Claimed coverage
Single battery $2,599, displayed list price $3,499 Up to 0.5 acre per charge
Dual battery $2,799, displayed list price $3,899 Up to 1 acre per charge

These figures describe different things. A maximum supported property size is not the same as the area cut in one battery cycle. Total coverage depends on grass growth, cutting height, terrain, weather, time spent avoiding obstacles, travel between zones and charging schedules. The single- and dual-battery figures should therefore be read as company estimates, not guaranteed daily output.

Cutting specifications

Goko lists a cutting-height range of 25 to 100 mm—approximately 1 to 4 inches—and a cutting deck width of about 42 cm. The mower is described as using dual high-power blades and mulching grass as it works. Some launch material uses the phrase “dual razor-disc cutting system,” while the official product material uses broader dual-blade language. Those descriptions should not be interpreted as two separate cutting decks unless Goko’s final manual confirms that arrangement.

Goko also claims the M6 can clear obstacles up to 75 mm, or 7.5 cm. That does not mean users should leave roots, branches, toys, hoses or other debris on the lawn. A raised object may be detected, struck or become lodged, and a mower’s ability to climb over something is not the same as its ability to do so without damaging the deck or turf.

How the wire-free navigation works

Goko calls the system CyberNav Fusion Navigation. Its published components include:

  • RTK or network RTK positioning.
  • VSLAM, or visual simultaneous localization and mapping.
  • An IMU for measuring movement and orientation.
  • Wheel tracking or wheel odometry.
  • Camera-based environmental perception.

RTK can provide highly precise positioning when the mower receives suitable correction data. VSLAM helps it understand its surroundings visually, while the IMU and wheel tracking help estimate movement between positioning updates. Combining these systems is intended to make wire-free mapping more flexible than a traditional buried or pinned boundary wire.

“Wire-free” does not necessarily mean infrastructure-free. Goko’s later announcement refers to both a local RTK base station and network RTK, depending on the setup. Buyers should confirm whether their region requires a base station, reliable cellular or network access, and a clear enough view of the sky for dependable positioning.

Questions the launch material does not fully answer

  • What happens when RTK corrections are lost?
  • How much cellular service is required, and what will it cost after the included period?
  • How well does visual navigation work beneath dense trees or in visually repetitive areas?
  • Can the mower reliably cross gravel, bridges, narrow paths or steep transitions between zones?
  • Can users create and edit no-go zones without physical wire?
  • What happens if the mower becomes stuck or loses its map?

Goko support material reportedly recommends paths between zones at least 1 metre, or 3.3 feet, wide, with additional turning space preferred. That is a useful planning figure, but it comes from a support response rather than a formal manual.

What QuadVision establishes—and what it does not

Goko says QuadVision can identify more than 200 object types, including people, pets, toys, furniture, balls, bicycles and garden objects. The company also promotes front- and side-facing cameras and operation after dark.

Those statements establish what is being marketed, not a verified safety guarantee. Camera-based recognition can vary with object size, colour, lighting, glare, rain on the lenses, grass height, occlusion and software updates. Small, flat, dark or partly hidden objects may be especially difficult to detect. Pet-waste avoidance is also not something owners should assume from a general object-recognition claim.

Children and animals should not be treated as protected simply because the mower has AI cameras. Owners should clear the lawn, supervise initial operation and physically prevent access to roads, ponds, retaining-wall edges, drops and other dangerous areas.

Price, service inclusions and shipping

On August 16, 2026, Goko’s official store displayed the following prices:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • $2,599 for the single-battery M6, discounted from a displayed $3,499 list price.
  • $2,799 for the dual-battery M6, discounted from a displayed $3,899 list price.

The page also displayed promotional inclusions such as a mulching blade set, a numbered nameplate, an outdoor cap and sunglasses, three years of nRTK service, one year of 4G data service, and one year of extended warranty and accidental-damage protection. Promotional bundles and sale prices can change.

The store page listed a 30-day return period, a two-year warranty and lifetime customer support. It also stated that the first shipping batch would begin in October 2026, with remaining orders shipping from November 2026. An accepted order is therefore not the same as immediate availability.

Before ordering, read the full terms for return-condition requirements, warranty geography, shipping responsibility and service exclusions. Also verify the later cost of nRTK and cellular service, since the available product pages do not establish the recurring prices after the included periods.

Other practical questions include the availability and price of replacement batteries, blades, wheels, cameras, charging equipment and RTK hardware, as well as whether repairs are handled locally or require international shipping.

Who the M6 may suit

The M6 is most interesting for homeowners with:

  • More than half an acre of grass.
  • Steep slopes or rolling ground.
  • Roots, ruts, muddy sections or other rough terrain.
  • Several lawn areas that need separate maps or zones.
  • A strong preference for avoiding boundary-wire installation.
  • Reliable network or cellular coverage, or a suitable RTK setup.
  • The budget and patience to adopt a first-generation consumer product.

For a large property with difficult terrain, four-wheel drive and suspension could address problems that make ordinary robot mowers impractical. That is the M6’s strongest argument.

Who should probably skip it

The M6 is less compelling for a small, flat lawn. In that situation, its additional drivetrain, sensors and navigation systems may add cost and complexity without solving an important problem. An established mainstream mower may offer a more mature app, dealer network and supply of replacement parts.

WORX Robot Lawn Mower for 1/4 Acre, Wire-Free with Brushes | Landroid Vision Cloud with App Control, AI Obstacle Avoidance, RTK Cloud Navigation, App Control, Handles 30% Slope
  • Centimeter-Level RTK Cloud Accuracy: Commercial-grade RTK Cloud technology delivers centimeter-level positioning for this robotic lawn mower with no local antenna installation and no additional cloud costs.
  • Auto Mapping for More Complete Coverage: Vision AI helps the robot lawn mower understand lawn shapes and boundary types, then automatically maps your yard for smooth paths, closer edge-following, and fuller coverage from day one.
  • AI Obstacle Avoidance with Neural Processing: Vision AI recognizes and understands common yard objects, using a trained neural network and up to 10 trillion operations per second to help mowing stay smooth, safe, and uninterrupted.
  • Infinite Zone Mowing & App Remote Control: Create unlimited mowing zones, set custom paths, define no-go areas, edit your map, and monitor your remote control lawn mower from the app anytime.
  • Reliable Navigation Even in Shade: RTK Cloud provides centimeter-level accuracy in open areas, while V-SLAM sensor fusion with Vision AI helps maintain precise navigation in shaded or partially covered lawn spaces.

It may also be a poor fit for properties with abrupt steps, narrow corridors, poor satellite visibility, unreliable cellular coverage, frequent loose debris or boundaries next to roads and water. Buyers who need proven local service, immediate delivery or independently verified safety performance should wait for more evidence or consider a more established alternative category.

What remains unproven

The available launch coverage, company announcements and product pages do not independently verify:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Real-world performance at the maximum stated slope, especially on wet or loose ground.
  • Battery endurance and complete mowing time in real grass.
  • Cut quality, turf impact and performance in muddy conditions.
  • Noise, blade life and maintenance requirements.
  • Obstacle-detection accuracy around small, moving or partly hidden objects.
  • Recovery after getting stuck or losing RTK, cellular service or a map.
  • Reliability of the app, firmware updates and long-term map retention.
  • Delivery consistency and responsiveness of warranty support.

Goko support material says each blade side can be used for approximately 50 hours before flipping, with replacement recommended once both sides are worn. That should be treated as an average support estimate, not a guaranteed service interval.

How it compares with the alternatives

The closest conceptual comparison is the premium AWD and RTK category represented by products such as Mammotion LUBA. Buyers prioritising wire-free mapping may also consider Segway Navimow. Those are category comparisons, not claims that any particular model is better without current model-by-model testing.

Husqvarna Automower may be more attractive to buyers who value an established robotic-mower ecosystem and dealer support over the M6’s extreme-terrain positioning. For properties with disconnected grass areas, tall weeds, heavy debris, public-road access or unsafe drops, a traditional riding, stand-on or walk-behind mower may remain the more practical choice.

Bottom line for potential buyers

Goko’s M6 is an unusually ambitious first consumer product. Its combination of four-wheel drive, suspension, wire-free sensor fusion and camera-based obstacle detection could make it relevant to homeowners whose large, sloped or rough lawns defeat simpler autonomous mowers.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

But the $2,599 starting price—or $2,799 for the dual-battery configuration—buys into a new consumer brand with limited independent performance evidence in the available material. Treat the 42-degree slope, 200-plus object types, coverage, obstacle clearance and after-dark operation as claims from Goko until independent reviews test them across real lawns and weather conditions.

If the M6 fits your terrain, verify the RTK and connectivity requirements, shipping batch, warranty geography, replacement-part access and post-included-period service costs before paying. If your lawn is small and flat, or if you need proven support and immediate availability, established alternatives deserve comparison first.
