The round was led by Fortino Ventures, with Rise PropTech, CuriosityVC and existing investor Hansmann Family Office also participating. Reebuild says it will use the capital to expand beyond Austria and Germany, develop more workflow modules and grow its Vienna team.
What reebuild does today
Reebuild describes its product as an AI-native back-office platform for construction companies and property developers. It takes documents—including PDFs, photographs, scans and e-invoices—and turns them into structured data for commercial workflows.

Reported uses include invoice review, cost management, materials tracking and matching delivery notes against invoices and order confirmations. For example, a foreman can photograph a delivery note in the mobile app, rather than waiting for a paper document to reach the office. The software can prepare work and recommend next steps, while employees retain the final approval decision.
The phrase “AI operating system” describes the company’s ambition, not a claim that every commercial process is already automated. Coverage of the product focuses on document, finance and related back-office workflows; broader modules are part of the company’s plans.
What the €3 million round will fund
Announced October 13, 2026, the seed round was led by Fortino Ventures. Rise PropTech and CuriosityVC joined, alongside existing backer Hansmann Family Office. Reebuild says the funding will support three priorities:
- Expansion into markets beyond Austria and Germany.
- Development of AI-native modules spanning contractor workflows from calculation or estimation through accounting, including invoicing and on-site documentation.
- Hiring and team growth in Vienna.
EU-Startups reported that reebuild had around 25 employees at its Vienna headquarters. That is reported staffing at the time of the announcement, not a target or evidence that planned hiring has already occurred. Fortino partner Wouter Goossens framed digitising and automating construction back offices with SaaS and AI as an opportunity, and cited the founding team’s construction roots as a reason for backing the company. That is the investor’s rationale, not an independent product assessment.
Reported adoption and efficiency
Reebuild’s scale and performance figures, as reported by EU-Startups and Tech.eu on the funding announcement date, are company or customer claims. The articles do not provide an independent audit or detailed measurement methodology.

EU-Startups named Pittel+Brausewetter, 3SI Immogroup, Rödl & Herdegen and Kratzert Gruppe among reebuild’s customers. The reported figures indicate claimed usage and time savings, but they do not establish that another company will see the same outcomes.

What construction businesses should verify
The announcement does not include pricing, a feature-by-feature integration list or a named competitor comparison. A company assessing the platform would need to check how well it fits its own systems and approval processes, rather than infer those details from the funding or scale figures.
- Document coverage: Confirm that the formats and document types your teams use are supported, including how scans, photographs and e-invoices are handled.
- Matching and exceptions: Ask how the system flags mismatches among delivery notes, invoices and orders, and what happens when a document is incomplete or inconsistent.
- Accounting and other integrations: Establish which existing systems can connect and whether data transfers are available for your specific setup; a named integration list is not provided in the announcement coverage.
- Approval controls: Clarify who can review, change and approve prepared work, since employees—not the software alone—retain final approval decisions.
- Workflow scope: Separate functions described as available today from modules planned for development, particularly the broader path from estimation to accounting.
- Outcome measurement: Compare time and cost against your own baseline and define how exceptions and human review are counted before treating reported results as a forecast.
Why the round matters
Construction projects generate commercial paperwork across offices, suppliers and job sites. Reebuild’s stated approach is to turn that material into structured information and connect it to invoice, cost and materials workflows, while leaving people in control of approvals. The funding gives the company resources to pursue a wider geographic reach and a broader product scope; whether it delivers those plans, and how consistently the reported efficiencies transfer to other businesses, remains to be demonstrated.
