Rachel McAdams and her partner, Jamie Linden, listed their longtime Los Angeles home in April 2025 for just under $4 million, according to Realtor.com. The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath residence is in Los Feliz and was described as a midcentury-modern home. A later report says the listing was taken down, but the available reporting does not establish whether the property sold or who owns it now.
What was the asking price?
Realtor.com reported on April 25, 2025, that McAdams and Linden listed the property for just under $4 million. The outlet also reported that they bought it in August 2011 for $1.67 million. Those are reported listing and purchase figures, not an estimate of the home’s current value or the owners’ profit.
Where is the home, and what is its layout?
The residence is in Los Feliz, the Los Angeles neighborhood identified in coverage by Architectural Digest. The magazine described it as a gated, midcentury-modern home with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. These details come from published coverage, rather than an independent inspection of the property.
What features were reported?
Published descriptions emphasize the home’s connection between indoor rooms and outdoor space, along with a dedicated entertainment area.

Why did McAdams leave Los Angeles?
Realtor.com and Architectural Digest reported that McAdams and her family had relocated from Los Angeles to an unspecified location in the South. Architectural Digest attributed a comment about the move to McAdams, recalling an interview she gave to Bustle in 2023: “It helped me feel empowered. It helped me feel like I was taking back some control.” The reporting does not disclose the family’s exact new location.
