The council’s 10 September 2025 committee pack says application 23/AP/1317, for 257–283 Ilderton Road, had been refused in February 2025. The stated reason concerned the absence of conventional on-site affordable housing and the resulting failure to contribute to a mixed and inclusive neighbourhood, with reference to planning policies.
