Gear Patrol reported a 2.18-inch overall length and one-ounce weight in March 2026, but those figures are product specifications, not independent measurements. Its Kickstarter campaign has ended, and current retail availability is not established.
What the MS-06 includes
Gear Patrol’s March 2026 coverage describes two 1.3-inch folding blades: one plain edge and one serrated edge. It says the tool also includes Phillips and flathead drivers, a small pry feature, a bottle opener, 2 mm and 5 mm hex wrench openings, and a keyring hole. The campaign FAQ calls the MS-06 an “8-in-1” tool and lists a nail file, but public descriptions do not consistently itemize all eight functions. Treat the count as the campaign’s description rather than a fully verified inventory. Gear Patrol ORIONER campaign FAQ
Blade details and material uncertainty
Gear Patrol identifies the blades as 14C28N steel. The campaign FAQ instead describes the blade as Sandvik steel and the casing as titanium alloy. The available descriptions do not resolve the difference in blade terminology, so the steel grade should not be treated as settled without current manufacturer specifications or inspection of the product itself. Gear Patrol ORIONER campaign FAQ
Gear Patrol characterizes the plain edge as suited to lighter slicing and the serrated blade to thicker material. These are editorial descriptions, not reported performance tests. No evidence here establishes cutting performance, blade-lock security, or suitability for demanding work.

What its size means for everyday carry
At the reported 2.18 inches long and one ounce, the MS-06 is pitched for a keychain or pocket rather than as a full-size jobsite multitool. Its small footprint may make it convenient to carry for occasional light tasks, but compact dimensions and a list of functions do not establish heavy-duty capability. The published figures come from Gear Patrol’s product coverage, not independent measurements. Gear Patrol
Campaign status, price, and fulfillment reports
Gear Patrol reported an approximately US$30 early-bird Kickstarter price and an estimated June 2026 delivery date. Both are historical campaign details, not a current offer or delivery promise. The MS-06’s appeal is its combination of two blade styles and simple driver, pry, bottle-opening, and wrench features in a very small package. It may suit someone seeking a light keychain tool for occasional everyday tasks. For construction or other demanding work, assess the specific task and use a purpose-built tool where strength, reach, or dependable performance matters; the available product descriptions do not support treating the MS-06 as a substitute for full-size equipment.
