Orient Cement reported standalone Q3 FY2025–26 revenue from operations of ₹63,609.84 lakh and profit after tax of ₹2,779.94 lakh for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. The associated January 30, 2026 earnings-call transcript is not an Orient-only call: it is an Ambuja Cements-led group call that includes Orient in the wider cement-platform discussion. Keep those sources and entity scopes separate when interpreting the numbers or management commentary.
Orient Cement’s standalone Q3 FY2025–26 results
Orient Cement’s board approved its unaudited results on January 29, 2026. The filing reports standalone figures in lakh rupees; it says consolidated results were not applicable because the company had no subsidiary, associate or joint venture for that filing. The results include a limited review report, not an audit opinion. Orient Cement’s investor financial-results archive.

Why period-to-period comparisons need care
Orient changed accounting estimates and a depreciation method during the September 2025 quarter. The company reassessed the useful lives and residual values of property, plant and equipment and changed the depreciation method for a power plant. It says the change increased September-quarter depreciation by ₹6,309 lakh. Its filing says the September 2025 quarter, corresponding Q3 and nine-month periods in 2024, and FY2024–25 are not comparable to the reported periods “to that extent.”
#1 Best Overall
Q3 FY2025–26 also includes an exceptional charge of ₹643.30 lakh related to the impact of newly notified labour codes and associated defined-benefit obligations. Consider both this charge and the depreciation comparability qualification before drawing conclusions from a profit movement.

Group figures are not Orient standalone results
Ambuja Cements’ Q3 FY2026 presentation reports consolidated cement volume of 18.9 million tonnes, revenue of ₹10,277 crore, EBITDA of ₹1,353 crore and EBITDA of ₹718 per tonne. The presentation marks year-on-year growth of 17%, 20%, 53% and 31%, respectively; its normalization footnote applies to relevant financial comparisons. Orient’s January 29 results filing states that Ambuja acquired operational and financial control effective April 22, 2025, and held 72.66% after the open offer completed on June 18, 2025. It also says the Orient–Ambuja amalgamation scheme was approved by the boards on December 22, 2025, with May 1, 2025 proposed as the appointed date, subject to stock-exchange, regulatory and National Company Law Tribunal approvals.
Rank #4
The January 30 Ambuja presentation said stock-exchange filings had been made, SEBI no-objection certificates were awaited, and completion was expected over FY2027. Those are disclosures from January 2026, not a current status update. The cited January materials do not establish whether the scheme later became effective; check current company and exchange filings for that status.
