These are planned facilities; the project page does not establish that they are open or complete. The City says Sports Facilities Companies is involved in management and operations planning, with aims that include local engagement and economic impact. Cost figures and the separate park pledge
Published figures describe different scopes and should not be treated as one reconciled project budget. The TDLR registration lists an estimated cost of $81 million for the registered project. The September 2026 milestone announcement calls the development a $145 million project but does not explain how that figure relates to the TDLR registration. The City also reported an August 26, 2026 pledge of $3.6 million from Ellen and Larry Bell and the Parks Bell Foundation for Amy Bell Memorial Children’s Park; that pledge is for the park, not the total complex. Construction schedule: two different estimates
The TDLR registration lists an estimated start date of October 30, 2025, and an estimated completion date of October 30, 2027. Separately, the City’s April 2026 strategic plan sets a target of 100% construction completion by Spring 2028. These are not the same date: one is a state registration estimate and the other is a municipal strategic-plan target. Neither establishes a confirmed public opening date.
