The Ninja Crispi Pro is now available in the UK, but it is not simply a bigger version of the original portable Crispi. The £249.99 7-in-1 model adds a 5.7-litre glass container, adjustable temperature control and more cooking modes, making it the more useful appliance for family meals and meal prep. The original Crispi remains the better choice if portability, compact storage and price matter most.
The price and availability below refer to listings checked around the Pro’s UK launch on 5 March 2026. Ninja’s stock status varies by colour and model, so check the individual product page before buying.

What is the Ninja Crispi Pro?
The Crispi Pro is a glass-container cooking system rather than a conventional pull-out-basket air fryer. Its overhead heating unit, called the PowerPod, sits above a removable CleanCrisp glass container. Once cooking is finished, the container can go to the table or be fitted with its storage lid for the fridge.

A modular base changes position to accommodate the different container heights. That design gives the Pro more capacity and flexibility than the original Crispi, but it also makes it a countertop appliance rather than a genuinely portable cooking system. Ninja describes the original as portable and the Pro as intended to stay on the worktop.

Is the Crispi Pro available in the UK?
Yes, but availability is variant-specific. Ninja’s UK range includes both seven-function AS101 models and five-function AS090 models:
- AS101UKCY — 7-in-1, Cyberspace
- AS101UKLG — 7-in-1, Bone
- AS101UKRS — 7-in-1, Rose Quartz
- AS090UKWH — 5-in-1, White
- AS090UKGN — 5-in-1, Moss Green
- AS090UKSD — 5-in-1, Stone Gold
The official range page has shown some seven-function models as new, while some five-function versions have been marked “Coming Soon” or “Out of stock”. In other words, “available in the UK” does not mean every colour or configuration can be ordered at the same time. Check Ninja’s current Crispi range and the product page for the exact model you want.

What comes in the 7-in-1 box?
The standard UK AS101UKCY package includes:
- CRISPi PRO XL main unit
- 5.7-litre CleanCrisp glass container
- 2.3-litre CleanCrisp glass container
- Removable modular base
- Two crisper plates
- Two storage lids
- Recipe guide
- Two-year guarantee
The 3.8-litre container is not included in this bundle. It is sold separately, so do not assume that buying the Pro gives you all three container sizes.
Ninja’s product listing gives the 7-in-1 model a power rating of 2050W. Its support FAQ also describes the Crispi Pro as an 1800W system, so the safest approach is to check the rating label and current documentation for the specific model before relying on either figure.
Functions: 7-in-1 versus 5-in-1
The model number matters. Not every UK Crispi Pro has seven functions.

The official 5-in-1 listing confirms that the AS090 models omit Roast and Dehydrate. If both variants are listed at £249.99, the seven-function model is the stronger buy unless the five-function colour is your priority or stock differs.

Container sizes and practical capacity
- 2.3L: suited to smaller meals, sides, leftovers and desserts.
- 3.8L: an optional middle-size container.
- 5.7L: intended for larger portions, meal preparation, roasts and a whole chicken.
Ninja says the 5.7-litre container can serve up to six people. That is a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee that every meal will comfortably feed six: food needs room for hot air to circulate, and bulky or overlapping ingredients will reduce the usable capacity.
The larger container is the main reason the Pro makes more sense than the original for families and batch cooking. It is less compelling for someone who normally cooks one or two portions.

The Pro therefore does not replace the original in every use case. It changes the balance. You pay £100 more than the original price reported in the launch coverage for a system that is larger, more adjustable and more suitable for permanent countertop use.

The original remains attractive if you want to reheat food, crisp smaller portions or take the appliance between locations. Paying more for the Pro makes less sense if you will not use its larger container or additional modes.
How to set it up
- Place the correct crisper plate in the selected glass container.
- Add the food.
- Set the modular base to the correct position: upper for 2.3L, middle for 3.8L and bottom for 5.7L.
- Slide the container into the station until it clicks.
- Select a cooking function, then set the temperature and time.
- Press the dial to start. Ninja says preheating is not required.
- Shake or toss the food during cooking when the recipe requires it.
- Reinsert the container; the appliance resumes automatically.
- Use oven mitts when removing hot glassware.
If the container or base is not correctly positioned, the Pro will not start. The display shows “ADD POT” until it detects the compatible container and correct modular-base position. This is a key difference from a simple basket air fryer: assembly is part of the operating process.
Use only compatible Ninja CleanCrisp containers. A generic glass dish is not a substitute for the container the appliance is designed to detect and seal.

Cooking rules worth knowing
- Do not combine raw, frozen and precooked ingredients in the same cook.
- Use Air Fry or Max Crisp for frozen food.
- Use Re-crisp or Air Fry for reheating; Ninja does not recommend Bake for frozen food or reheating.
- Toss ingredients during cooking for more even browning.
- Reduce the time for smaller quantities and check food frequently.
- Remove food promptly when cooking finishes to avoid overcooking.
- Use an instant-read thermometer for meat and other proteins.
These instructions come from Ninja’s owner’s guidance, and they matter particularly because the large glass container may encourage users to load it more heavily than airflow allows.

Cleaning, glass safety and storage
Ninja says the borosilicate glass containers are dishwasher-safe, while the storage lids are suitable for the top rack. The main unit and modular base should not go in the dishwasher.
Let hot glass cool gradually. Do not put a hot container into cold water or a cold sink: thermal shock can damage glass. Ninja also advises against nesting the containers because doing so can cause scratches.
Ninja says the food-contact surfaces are made without PFAS and PTFE and describes the glassware as borosilicate glass with BPA-free plastic handles. Those are manufacturer statements; they should not be treated as an independent product-safety certification.
Who should buy the Crispi Pro?
Buy the 7-in-1 Crispi Pro if:
- You want a glass vessel that can move from appliance to table or fridge.
- You cook larger portions or prepare meals in batches.
- You want adjustable temperature control.
- You value being able to see food through the glass.
- You will use Roast, Prove or Dehydrate.
- You have permanent worktop space.
Choose the original Crispi if:
- Portability is the main attraction.
- You usually cook for one or two people.
- You mainly need reheating, crisping and straightforward air frying.
- You want to spend £100 less than the Pro’s launch price.
- You need something easier to store or transport.
Choose a conventional basket or drawer air fryer instead if:
- You want the simplest loading and cleaning routine.
- You need two independent cooking zones.
- You have limited countertop depth or height.
- You do not need glass serving and storage containers.
- Low-cost replacement baskets and accessories are more important than the Crispi format.
Verdict
The Ninja Crispi Pro is the better Crispi for a kitchen-based buyer: it offers substantially more useful capacity, better control and, on the AS101 model, three extra cooking functions. The 5.7L and 2.3L containers also make the system more practical for family meals than the original.
It is not automatically the better product. The Pro gives up the original’s portability and costs more, while the 5-in-1 versions may offer fewer functions at the same listed price. For most shoppers considering the Pro, the AS101 7-in-1 is the model to target—but only after checking the exact colour’s stock status and confirming the included containers.
