Mikagecho House is a private residence attributed to Japanese architect Tomoaki Uno. An architecture roundup labels it “from 2024,” but does not clarify whether that means the house was completed that year. A 2025 itinerary documents a visit to its exterior and interior, and AMAG Publisher lists a dedicated project book.

Who designed Mikagecho House, and when?

The project is attributed to Tomoaki Uno in an afasia roundup published in 2026. Its entry reads “MIKAGECHO HOUSE from 2024.” The roundup does not say whether 2024 is the completion date, a publication date, or another project milestone, so it is safest to treat it as the year assigned by that source—not a confirmed construction date.

What is documented about visiting the house?

A 2025 Ligne Bois itinerary includes “Maison privée Mikagecho (extérieur et intérieur)”—a visit to the private house’s exterior and interior—on a tour of timber projects with Uno. The itinerary describes Uno’s studio as based in Nagoya and working across private housing, commercial buildings, and object design. It does not give the house’s precise address.

Is there a book about Mikagecho House?

AMAG Publisher lists LB 42 TOMOAKI UNO mikagecho house in its LONG BOOKS collection. The listing establishes that a dedicated project book exists; it does not establish current stock or availability through Amazon. Consult the publisher’s listing for current sales information.

What construction details are confirmed?

The available project references establish the architect attribution, the year label used by the roundup, the documented itinerary visit, and the existence of the book. They do not establish the house’s area, plan, structural system, specified materials, construction details, budget, or energy performance. The itinerary’s timber-project context is not enough to confirm which materials or structural methods were used in this particular house.
