A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11The LiberNovo Omni is a premium, battery-powered ergonomic chair whose main draw is motorized lumbar adjustment and a flexible backrest designed to move with you. Hands-on reviewers generally praise its comfort and responsive support, but also flag fit, armrests, heat, warranty differences and the cost of optional extras. It is most compelling if you specifically want powered adjustment; the manual Omni SE may suit buyers who do not.
What makes the LiberNovo Omni different?
The Omni combines a flexible “Bionic FlexFit” backrest with powered lumbar adjustment. LiberNovo describes six dynamic adjustment modes, 50 mm of lumbar travel and 110 mm of seat-height adjustment on its EU product page. The chair is battery-powered; Windows Central estimated about 30 days of battery life in its 2025 review, but that is an estimate, not a guaranteed interval for every user or use pattern.
LiberNovo says the backrest uses elastic fabric with a micro-linen feel over flexible, pressure-relieving sponge, with a resilient lower-back layer. The seat has a multi-density cushion and the neck support uses memory foam. These are manufacturer descriptions of materials and features, not independent proof that the chair corrects posture or treats pain.
Is the Omni comfortable for long hours?
Published hands-on impressions are broadly positive, though subjective. Tom’s Guide’s reviewer used the original Omni daily for two months and praised its cushioning and motorized lumbar support. Android Authority’s reviewer reported three months of use and liked the dynamic support and reclining system. PC Gamer also praised the comfort, while cautioning that the chair was an early product iteration.

- Bionic FlexFit Backrest: Precision-tailored support with manual lumbar adjustment, perfectly aligning your spine for all-day comfort.
- Dynamic Support System: Headrest, backrest, seat, and armrests move with your body, maintaining continuous support as you shift, lean, or recline.
- 5 Recline Positions (105°-160°): Adjust your angle for work, gaming, or relaxation, from 105° Deep Focus to 160° Spine Flow. Pair with the LiberNovo Footrest to support healthy posture, provide ergonomic leg support that helps reduce pressure on your thighs, and maximize reclining comfort.
- Dynamic Screen Alignment: Differential tilt of headrest and backrest keeps your gaze steady, while sliding armrests (up to 100mm) provide uninterrupted support.
- Zoned Support, All-Day Comfort: Integrated with a Multi-density cushion, it enhances pressure distribution and circulation for effortless long-hour sittiing.
That evidence supports saying reviewers found the chair comfortable; it does not establish how it will fit every body, how it performs over years, or whether it improves health. LiberNovo customer reviews include positive comfort and fit accounts, alongside an individual report of heat buildup during extended sitting and accidental button presses. Those are individual accounts, not representative testing.
Fit, heat and controls to consider
Check the fit before buying
LiberNovo’s EU page recommends the chair for users 153–186 cm tall. That range is a manufacturer recommendation for that regional page, not a substitute for checking seat dimensions and trying the chair if possible. Its load figures also depend on the named standard: 136 kg under BIFMA and 110 kg under EN 1335. Do not treat those as interchangeable limits; check which standard and local product specification apply to your purchase.

- Active Ventilation System: Stay cool with integrated airflow that reduces heat and sweat—even during extended sitting sessions.
Consider heat and button placement
One customer review reports heat buildup after sitting for a long time, while Android Authority criticized the armrests. These reports are reasons to assess your own room temperature, posture and preferred arm position rather than proof of a widespread defect. The individual customer who mentioned accidental button presses raises a practical consideration: check whether the controls are easy to avoid when shifting position.
Omni, Omni SE and Omni Pro compared
The model names matter: the SE is not simply the same powered chair at a lower setting, and the Pro adds a different feature.

| Model | Main distinction | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| LiberNovo Omni | Battery-powered lumbar adjustment and spinal-stretch feature | Buyers who value powered adjustment and are comfortable owning a chair with electronics and a rechargeable battery |
| Omni SE | Manual lumbar control; no battery or motorized controls. Tom’s Guide says it retains the dynamic backrest and reclines up to 160 degrees. | Buyers who want the dynamic backrest and recline without the original Omni’s powered adjustment |
| Omni Pro | Adds active airflow features in the 2026 lineup comparison | Buyers prioritizing added airflow, subject to the model’s local availability and price |
Tom’s Guide’s August 13, 2026 lineup comparison listed indicative US prices of $899 for Omni SE, $1,099 for Omni and $1,299 for Omni Pro. These are dated review figures, not current offers; prices and model availability vary by market. The same outlet’s original Omni review listed $1,099, also a historical figure.
Specifications reported for the SE should not be transferred to the powered Omni: Tom’s Guide’s July 29, 2026 SE review gives that model a 160-degree maximum recline, 300-pound maximum load and five-year frame warranty.

Is the optional footrest worth adding?
The footrest is optional, so check exactly what a regional bundle includes. Tom’s Guide’s reviewer found it improved their experience both upright and reclined. Windows Central, however, said it was not necessary for the chair’s spinal-stretch function. Its value therefore depends on whether you want a place to rest your legs while sitting or reclining, rather than whether you need it to use that feature.

Warranty terms differ across the cited sources and should not be treated as universal. LiberNovo’s EU product page states six years for the frame and two years for electronics. Tom’s Guide’s original review and Windows Central’s 2025 review reported five years for the chair or frame and two years for electronics. Before ordering, read the written warranty for the precise model and sales region, including what it covers for the battery and other electronic components.

Does the LiberNovo Omni help with back pain?
The available reviews describe comfort and support, not clinical outcomes. LiberNovo’s dynamic modes and lumbar movement are product features; they do not establish that the chair relieves back pain or treats a medical condition. If pain is affecting your work or daily life, a chair review cannot replace advice from a qualified health professional.
Who should buy the LiberNovo Omni?
The Omni is easiest to justify for someone who values powered lumbar adjustment and the chair’s moving-backrest concept enough to accept a premium purchase, battery charging and electronics coverage. If motorized adjustment is not important, the Omni SE’s manual controls and retained dynamic backrest may be a more suitable trade-off. If heat management is the priority, compare the Pro’s airflow features with what is available in your region and whether active airflow makes sense in your workspace.
Comfort reports are encouraging, but the concerns about armrests, heat, fit and early product iteration make it sensible to check the return terms and model-specific warranty before committing. PC Gamer reviewer Kizito Katawonga captured that caution in a September 11, 2025 verdict: “The Omni is undoubtedly comfortable with plenty of clever tricks but it’s a first iteration product on Kickstarter… think about that.”
