JK DryChem Industries LLC, a subsidiary of JK Cement, inaugurated a 5,000 m² construction-chemicals plant in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, on 3 September 2026. The facility is set to make liquid admixtures, prepared additives, dry-mix materials and coatings, initially for customers in the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Exports to Africa and other markets are planned, but the announcement does not give a production-capacity figure or confirm export volumes.
What JK Cement’s new UAE plant will produce
The RAKEZ announcement names four product categories: liquid admixtures, prepared additives, dry-mix materials and coatings. These are broad categories, not a detailed product catalogue; the announcement does not specify formulations, brands or individual SKUs. RAKEZ’s 3 September 2026 announcement describes the facility and its intended product range.
The plant is in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), in the UAE. An earlier announcement located the project in RAKEZ’s Al Ghail Industrial Zone. Its reported area at inauguration is 5,000 m².
Where the plant plans to serve customers
RAKEZ says the facility will initially serve customers in the UAE and GCC. It also describes exports to Africa and the rest of the world as planned. The announcement does not quantify those prospective exports or establish that they have begun.

JK Cement’s existing Fujairah operation is separate from this new Ras Al Khaimah plant. The company says the Fujairah subsidiary began commercial production in September 2014 and supplies white cement, dry-mix products and construction chemicals to more than 40 countries. That background does not establish export activity by the new facility. JK Cement UAE’s company page describes the Fujairah operation.
What was announced before the inauguration
On 27 November 2025, RAK Media Office reported an AED 6 million investment in the project, with operations expected to begin in January 2026 and approximately 50 skilled jobs forecast for the first phase. The official inauguration followed on 3 September 2026. These are different milestones: the earlier report stated an expected start date, while the later announcement reported the inauguration and operations underway. The published announcements do not explain the timing difference or confirm how many jobs were ultimately created. CemNet reported that JK Cement Group Managing Director Dr Raghavpat Singhania described the launch as a step toward strengthening the company’s UAE presence and expanding its construction-chemicals business internationally. Singhania also said local manufacturing would bring the company closer to customers and strengthen supply capabilities. These are the company’s stated reasons for the investment, not independently measured results. CemNet’s 7 September 2026 report carries the attributed remarks.
