How to check whether your Wickes is open today
- Open the Wickes store locator.
- Enter your postcode or town and select the branch you plan to visit.
- Check that branch’s displayed hours and any special closure information. Listed standard hours are not confirmation that the store is open today.
Wickes’ locator says there are more than 230 stores throughout the UK. That is a network-size statement, not a live count of branches open today. Hours vary by branch and day; for example, multiple branches listed Thursday hours of 7:00 am–8:00 pm, while other days and some Saturday closing times differ. Can you shop online or use Click & Collect?
Wickes describes Click & Collect as ordering online and collecting from a local store within 30 minutes. This is a general service description, not a guarantee that every item is available at every branch. Check stock and collection options in the order flow, then wait for the collection confirmation before travelling. Those claims come from a T3 article published on 15 May 2020 about Wickes’ phased store reopening during the COVID-19 period. They do not establish how many stores are open today or whether online checkout has a queue. T3’s 2020 report
