Home Depot’s 2025 announcement does not verify a sale on its 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly. It listed the returning model at its original price of $299 and said the 2025 Halloween collection would be available online starting August 4, while supplies lasted. That is a launch announcement, not proof of a later markdown or live inventory.
What Home Depot announced for the 2025 12-foot Skelly
In its 2025 Halloween collection announcement, Home Depot described the 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly as a returning fan favorite and gave its original price as $299. The retailer said the collection would be available online beginning August 4, 2025, while supplies lasted.
Those details establish the announced price and launch timing only. They do not show that the 12-foot model was discounted later in the season, that it was in stock at a particular store, or that the launch price remained available after the announcement.
Why a reported Ultra Skelly deal is not proof
A 2025 fall-sale roundup reported an offer on the 6.5-foot Ultra Skelly. That is a different product from the 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly, so its price cannot establish a discount on the larger model. The distinction matters when searching or comparing listings: confirm the product name and height before treating a price as a deal on the 12-footer.

How to check a 12-foot Skelly deal
- Look for a dated retailer listing or archived record that identifies the exact 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly, rather than a smaller Ultra Skelly or another skeleton decoration.
- Check whether the displayed price applies online or to a specific store; an online listing does not establish local inventory.
- Compare the dated price with the announced $299 original price, and confirm the offer dates and terms before describing it as a sale.
Home Depot’s giant skeleton decorations category includes the 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly, but category presence alone does not confirm current availability. For a broad search, use a phrase such as “12 foot giant Halloween skeleton yard decoration”; that describes the product category and does not imply that the exact Home Depot model is sold by another retailer.
Do not confuse the 2025 model with the newer generation
Home Depot’s 2026 collection announcement introduced a new app-enabled 12-foot model with movement and sound functions. It also said the original model would remain available in stores at $299. Those are 2026 details and should not be attributed to the 2025 Skelly.
