Bargain Block has not been confirmed for a new network or streaming service. HGTV had announced a fifth-season order, but later reporting said the plan did not proceed. Episodes already filmed continued airing in 2025; more recent project and camera-crew teases have not amounted to an official pickup.
Is Bargain Block moving to a new network?
No new home has been announced. The hosts, renovation partners Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas, have reportedly teased projects and possible filming, but the available reports do not confirm a new series order, a destination platform, or a premiere date. A camera crew or an upbeat response to a fan may suggest activity; neither establishes that a network has picked up the show. TV Insider’s April 2026 report likewise said there was no official new-show news.
What happened to the announced fifth season?
HGTV’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, previously announced a 10-episode season of Bargain Block and a five-episode Bargain Block New Orleans spinoff featuring Bynum and Thomas. That announcement documented a plan, not a guarantee that production would continue. Later, TV Insider reported that Bynum said the series would not return for a fifth season, despite a social-media tease that had led viewers to expect new episodes. The sources do not establish a definitive explanation from HGTV for the reversal.
The distinction matters: an announced order and a completed pickup are not the same as a season that ultimately goes forward. The earlier press release described the show as a ratings driver after three seasons, but that historical promotional assessment does not explain HGTV’s later decision.

Why were episodes still airing after the cancellation?
The remaining episodes had already been filmed. TV Insider reported that they began airing in August 2025, with the finale on September 10, 2025. Their later broadcast dates do not indicate that HGTV renewed the show or resumed production.
What have the hosts said or teased since then?
Accounts from late 2025 described Bynum and Thomas sharing travel and project updates after the show’s end. An April 2026 report later described a “new show” tease and a camera crew, but it also noted the lack of an official announcement. Those details leave open the possibility of future work together; they do not identify a buyer, confirm a series, or show that Bargain Block itself is moving.

Where can you watch Bargain Block?
A November 2025 TV Insider article said the back catalog was available on HBO Max, now branded Max. Streaming catalogs change, so check Max directly for current availability. A listing there would mean the existing episodes are streamable, not that the series has moved from HGTV or that a new season is in production.
