Mike Tyson and his wife bought a home in the Rapallo neighborhood of Seven Hills, Henderson, Nevada, for $2.5 million in 2015. Contemporary reports describe an Italian-style property with six bedrooms, two casitas and resort-style outdoor amenities. The purchase is historical; available reporting does not establish who owns or occupies the home today.

Where is the house, and when did Tyson buy it?

The property is in Seven Hills, a Henderson community in the Las Vegas suburbs. The selling brokerage identifies its neighborhood as Rapallo, a guard-gated enclave. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that public records showed the sale closed on December 28, 2015; the Los Angeles Times also reported the $2.5 million purchase in January 2016.

That figure is the reported transaction price, not a current asking price or valuation. The available accounts establish the purchase but do not establish present-day ownership or occupancy.

How large is the property?

Published size figures differ. The Los Angeles Times and the selling brokerage describe the home or property as 10,401 square feet. Some contemporary accounts and the 2022 Big World Tale tour use 8,149 square feet; that later article describes the smaller figure as the main house and the larger one as the estate. The distinction has not been independently established, so the figures are best treated as conflicting reports rather than a confirmed breakdown.

The brokerage describes the homesite as three-quarters of an acre and says the house was built in 2001. Those details come from the seller-side account, not an independent property measurement document.

What is inside the house?

The Los Angeles Times described an Italian-style home with six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Its reported interior features include a double-height foyer, marble flooring, a wrought-iron staircase and fireplaces. The Las Vegas Review-Journal also noted a media room, a small wine cellar and a four-car garage.

The 2022 Big World Tale tour adds two master suites to its description. That is a later secondary account, so the detail should be read as part of its reported tour rather than as a verified current floor plan.

What are the outdoor amenities?

Reports describe two detached casitas, an outdoor kitchen, a covered patio, and a pool and spa. The Los Angeles Times characterized the pool and spa as resort-style; the Review-Journal likewise reported two casitas. These features make the grounds as prominent in published descriptions as the large interior entertaining spaces.

What did the broker say about the purchase?

The Review-Journal quoted broker Ken Lowman: “They recognized it was a good opportunity and smartly jumped on it.” Lowman also said Tyson was very happy with the purchase. That is the broker’s contemporaneous characterization of the deal, not an independent assessment of the home’s value.

How to read the property reports

The most dependable outline is consistent across the 2016 sale coverage and the brokerage description: a $2.5 million purchase in late 2015, a Seven Hills location, and a large home with six bedrooms and substantial indoor and outdoor amenities. Exact square footage varies by account, and the later tour is secondary. None of these reports establishes the home’s current owner, occupancy, or value.
