Choose by placement and complete setup cost
For a star-shaped focal point
The paper star shade is the lowest-priced starting point, at $5.99 and up in the catalog. It is not necessarily a complete light by itself: check which compatible base or cord set the chosen shade requires. Adding the listed $17.99 cord set would bring those two components to at least $23.98 before tax, so that combination does not stay under $20. The $18.99 table-lamp base is also a separate component, not an all-in shade-and-light purchase.

For a place without an outlet
The battery-operated star and flower chains avoid the need to position the decoration beside a wall outlet. Each cited chain requires three AA batteries sold separately, so the product’s displayed price is not the complete operating cost. The flower chain’s page specifies a timer that turns it on at the same time each day and off after six hours; that timing detail should not be assumed for other STRÅLA products.
