The iGarden Swim Jet X Series is a portable, battery-powered counter-current system that clamps to a pool edge, but it is not a universal fit. Before choosing a model, check the pool’s wall, dimensions and coping against iGarden’s requirements. Then match the model to the swimmer’s pace and confirm the exact variant’s battery runtime: iGarden’s advertised “up to 10 hours” is a range-wide maximum, not a promise that every model runs that long.
What the iGarden Swim Jet X Series is
iGarden describes the X Series as a portable swim jet that mounts at the edge of a pool and pushes water toward the swimmer, creating a counter-current for continuous swimming, training or recreation. The company says the unit uses a clamp-and-go installation and does not require drilling or pool renovation. Those are manufacturer descriptions; independent installation or performance testing is not established here.

Robotic Pool Cleaner Cover for iGarden Swim Jet X Series 2025 2026 Pool Cleaner Machine Protector... | $55.99 | Buy on Amazon |
The current iGarden product page lists three configurations: X AIR (X25-P15), X 5 (X30-P30) and X PRO 10 (X35-P60). iGarden advertises them with its PMSM motor and AI Inverter technology. The page’s flow and pace figures are ratings published by the manufacturer, not independent measurements.
Will it fit your pool?
Pool geometry is the first buying decision. iGarden says inflatable pools are unsupported. For other pools, the manufacturer’s Help Center, updated in 2026, gives these fit conditions:
#1 Best Overall
- APPLICATION:for iGarden Swim Jet X Series 2025 2026.
- PREMIUM MATERIAL:This robotic pool cleaner cover is designed to provide protection for your pool cleaning machine in all weather conditions. Made from high-quality fabric, it ensures long-lasting durability and reliable protection.
- ALL-WEATHER PROTECTION:Effectively shields your pool cleaner from rain, dust, wind, sunlight exposure, and moisture, helping extend the lifespan of your equipment.
- SECURE & PRACTICAL DESIGN:Equipped with an adjustable drawstring and buckle strap, the cover stays firmly in place even in strong wind conditions.
- EASY TO USE & STORE:The top handle design allows easy removal, while the lightweight structure makes it simple to fold and store when not in use.
- A vertical pool wall at the mounting point.
- More than 4 m (13 ft) between the installation point and the opposite wall.
- More than 77 cm (30 in) from the waterline to the pool bottom or bench.
- Coping overhang under 10 cm (4 in).
- Freeboard under 40.6 cm (16 in).
These measurements are useful as an initial screen, not a guarantee that a particular coping, wall finish or edge profile will work. Measure the pool as it is built, including any bench and overhanging coping, and confirm the mounting arrangement with iGarden if the edge is unusual. A pool that fails one of the stated limits should not be treated as compatible merely because it is above-ground or in-ground.
Which X Series model should you choose?
iGarden positions the models for different swimming intensity. Its Help Center describes X AIR as the beginner and family option, X 5 for regular fitness swimming, and X PRO 10 for advanced or high-intensity training. The pace figures below are manufacturer-advertised maximum supported paces, expressed as time per 100 yards; they are not independently verified swim times.
| Model | iGarden-listed model code | Advertised flow | Advertised maximum pace | Controls and modes described by iGarden |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| X AIR | X25-P15 | 790 GPM | 1:40 per 100 yards | P15 has button controls and LED indicators; no screen is described. |
| X 5 | X30-P30 | 880 GPM | 1:30 per 100 yards | P30 has button controls and LED indicators; no screen is described. |
| X PRO 10 | X35-P60 | 1,100 GPM | 1:15 per 100 yards | P60 is described with a display, timer, and PE/PF modes. |
Flow ratings and pace claims come from iGarden’s product and support pages accessed or updated in 2026. Flow in GPM is a manufacturer specification, not a measurement of the current a swimmer will experience in every pool. The table’s control descriptions are also manufacturer-provided, rather than an independent usability assessment.
Choose X AIR for lighter use
X AIR is the entry configuration in iGarden’s positioning, with the lowest advertised flow rating and pace ceiling. It is the model to consider for less demanding swimming or family recreation if the intended swimmer’s needs fit those claims.

Choose X 5 for regular fitness swimming
X 5 sits between AIR and PRO 10 in iGarden’s listed flow and pace ratings. The company positions it for regular fitness swimming. Its P30 controls are described as buttons and LED indicators rather than the P60 display.
Choose X PRO 10 for the highest listed pace
X PRO 10 has the highest advertised flow and fastest maximum pace of the three. iGarden associates its P60 version with a display, timer and PE/PF modes. Buyers should decide whether the additional claimed training capacity and interface matter for their use, rather than treating a higher rating as a guarantee of a particular workout experience.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Battery runtime: what the “up to 10 hours” claim means
iGarden advertises up to 10 hours for the X Series, but that is a maximum for the range, not a stated runtime for every model. Battery capacity and runtime differ by version, and the product pages may change. The figures available here do not establish a reliable model-by-model capacity and runtime table, so check the live listing for the exact variant before purchase and do not assume the headline maximum applies to it.
Runtime should be treated as a manufacturer claim rather than a guaranteed duration under every setting or swimming pattern. iGarden also says the power box is designed to exceed 600 charging cycles under normal use, that capacity declines over time, and that a replacement power box may be purchased. These are the company’s lifecycle and replacement statements, not independent durability findings.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →How it compares with iGarden’s P Series
The key distinction in iGarden’s own comparison is installation and intended use: the X Series is battery-powered, portable and quick to mount; the P Series is wired and fixed. iGarden positions X for small-to-medium pools and daily fitness, while describing P as intended for larger pools and a stronger or wider current.
That makes the P Series worth comparing if you want a permanent installation or have a large pool. The X Series is the more relevant proposition if moving or removing the unit and avoiding a fixed wired setup are priorities. These are manufacturer characterizations, not comparative test results.
Saltwater use and upkeep
iGarden says the Swim Jet X can be used in saltwater pools and recommends rinsing it with fresh water after use to help reduce corrosion. The rinse is a maintenance recommendation, not proof that saltwater has no effect on long-term wear.
What this review can and cannot establish
The available specifications and fit guidance come from iGarden product and support information accessed or updated in 2026. They are useful for screening pool fit and comparing the company’s three configurations, but they do not establish independently measured flow, real-world swimmer experience, compatibility with every pool edge, long-term battery life, or superiority to another brand. Price, stock, regional availability, warranty and returns can change; confirm those details on the relevant regional store page before ordering.
