Set the clock time
- Slide the Setting switch to Clock.
- Press Hour until the current hour appears. Check the PM indicator on the left side of the display to make sure the clock shows the correct AM or PM time.
- Press Minute until the correct minutes appear.
- Slide the Setting switch back to Lock. The T130 manual says to leave the switch in Lock except when setting the clock or alarm time.
Does this procedure apply to the T1305?
The available instructions are from the Timex T130 nature-sounds alarm clock manual, not a confirmed T1305 manual. Timex’s US manuals page says to search by product name, product number, or feature; the page accessed did not show a matching result. If your clock’s switch or buttons are labeled differently, check the label on the clock and its model-specific instructions rather than assuming the T130 procedure is identical.
What happens to the time after a power interruption?
For the T130, the manual says an optional 9-volt backup battery temporarily maintains the clock and alarm settings if AC power fails or the cord is disconnected. Without a working backup battery, the display flashes when AC power returns, and the time and alarm settings must be reset. This battery is for retaining settings during an interruption; it is not required for the time-setting steps above.
