If your Samsung range has no dedicated Clock button, the right setting may be under Menu or Options—but the steps vary by control-panel layout and model. On supported Smart dial models, open the relevant menu, choose Set time, turn the dial to enter the time, then push it to confirm. Use the steps below that match the labels on your panel, and check your model’s manual if they do not.
Before you start: identify the model and control panel
Find the range’s model number and use it to locate the matching Samsung support page or user manual. Samsung notes that available settings can differ by model and country, so a sequence documented for one range should not be treated as universal. Its Canada support guidance recommends checking the manual for the exact model: How to set the clock on your Samsung range.
Next, look at the buttons and dial on your panel. If it has a dial and Menu or Options, use the corresponding dial instructions below. If it has Clock or Clock/Setting, number keys, or Up/Down buttons, follow the method for that layout instead.
Set the time using Menu and a dial

- If the panel is asleep, push or turn the dial to wake it.
- Tap Menu.
- Choose Set time.
- Turn the dial to enter the current time.
- Push the dial to confirm.
Samsung says a Smart dial panel may enter Sleep mode after two minutes without activity; waking it is necessary before using the time-setting menu. See Samsung’s Smart dial clock-setting instructions for the models covered.
Set the time using Options and a dial
Some documented Samsung ranges use Options rather than Menu. For the specified NE63*875 models, tap Options, select Set time with the dial, turn the dial to enter the time, and push the dial to confirm. Samsung documents this route for that model family in its NE63*875 control-panel instructions. Do not assume it applies to a different range just because it also has a dial.

If your panel has Clock, Clock/Setting, or number keys
A missing standalone Clock button is not enough to determine the correct procedure: Samsung documents other control layouts as well. For example, instructions for certain NE63*611 and NE63*631 ranges use Clock/Setting with Up/Down controls, while other documented ranges use Clock and number-pad entry. The required confirmation control can also vary, including Clock or START/SET. Follow the exact sequence for your model in Samsung’s NE63*611 and NE63*631 control-panel guidance.

If those steps do not match your range
- Check the model number against the manual rather than trying menu sequences from another range.
- Look for alternate labels such as Options, Clock/Setting, or START/SET.
- If you have a Smart dial panel and it appears unresponsive, wake it by pushing or turning the dial before opening the menu.
- If the manual’s controls still do not match the panel, use Samsung support for your model and region.
