Check the wood and how the stool is built
“Wooden” in a listing does not by itself tell you whether the stool is solid wood, wood veneer over another material, or a composite construction. Look for the stated species and construction, then decide whether the appearance, expected care, and price make sense for your household. Where the listing is vague, ask the seller rather than inferring construction from a photo.

- Seat height matches the measured counter, not just the category name.
- Seat width and depth suit the users and the space.
