Is the pen form useful for repair work?
A compact case with stored bits can keep a small driver kit together and make it easier to carry than a larger toolbox. The magnetic storage and holder are intended to keep bits in place and support bit handling, according to HOTO. The specifications alone do not establish how easily the case opens, how securely bits stay put, or how comfortable the handle feels during extended work.

For a small, accessible fastener where careful hand control matters, a manual driver may be an appropriate format. It is not a substitute for a larger tool when the job calls for substantial torque, nor should the broad list of bit families be taken as proof that the kit covers a specific repair. Check the device’s service guidance as well as the fastener before starting.
How does it compare with HOTO’s powered precision driver?
HOTO’s Electric Precision Screwdriver ADV is a separate product. The manufacturer lists 25 magnetized S2-steel bits, a speed of 170 RPM and two torque options, 0.05 and 0.2 Nm. A captured HOTO result showed a $15.99 sale price against a $19.99 regular price; that offer is time-sensitive, so check the product page for the current price and terms.
