GB Realty has announced an upcoming Jacob & Co.-branded residential development on Airport Road in Mohali, part of the Chandigarh–Mohali–Panchkula Tricity. It is being described by the company and contemporaneous reports as Punjab’s first branded-residences project. The scheme is not yet a launched, priced or fully specified offering: unit count, floor plans, possession timing, launch date, RERA registration and the precise role of Jacob & Co. remain unpublished.

The project is a proposed mixed-use development in Mohali that pairs local developer GB Realty with Jacob & Co., the luxury watchmaking and high-jewellery house. Where is the project, and how large is the site?
The confirmed broad location is Airport Road, Mohali. The available descriptions differ on the site area and locality detail, so buyers should not treat either acreage figure as final until approved plans and a definitive developer specification are released.

GB Realty’s page identifies the land as obtained through a GMADA auction and says the project remains subject to government and other approvals. The developer should be treated as the authority when it publishes approved plans, because the 4.5-acre and 5.5-acre descriptions are currently inconsistent.

Contemporaneous reports and GB Realty’s announcement put the project investment at ₹2,400–2,500 crore, including more than ₹1,000 crore for land. Those are reported development investment figures, not apartment prices, booking amounts or a buyer’s total acquisition cost.

GB Realty also describes a wider expansion plan of more than ₹5,000 crore over three years and approximately ₹10,000 crore over five years. About ₹3,500 crore of that longer plan is intended for luxury and ultra-luxury housing. These corporate targets do not establish this project’s final budget, sales value or delivery date.
What will Jacob & Co. contribute?
Jacob & Co. is the named brand partner, and its presence supplies the project’s branded-residence identity. However, no public project document yet explains whether the company will determine architecture, interiors, furnishings, concierge operations, amenities, resident services or ongoing design standards.
Until those obligations are published, a buyer should request a written description of brand deliverables, the duration of any licensing or management arrangement, and which services are included in maintenance charges. A brand name alone does not specify construction quality, amenity access or operating commitments.

How many apartments will there be, and what configurations are planned?
The Tribune reports 3-, 4- and 5-bedroom apartments on a 5.5-acre site. GB Realty’s project page currently lists the product mix as TBA and does not publish a unit count. Consequently, apartment types, carpet areas, towers, floor heights, parking allocation and commercial components remain unconfirmed.
Before comparing this scheme with other luxury developments, prospective purchasers should wait for sanctioned plans and a schedule identifying carpet area separately from saleable or built-up area. Those documents determine usable space, loading, common-area allocation and the price basis.
When will it launch, and is it RERA approved?
No launch date or RERA registration number has been disclosed in the available announcements. GB Realty’s page expressly says the project is subject to government and other approvals, so it should be treated as pre-launch information rather than an invitation to book a unit.

Before paying any token or signing an expression of interest, ask for the state RERA registration number, sanctioned plans, land and development approvals, the draft agreement, payment schedule and the promised possession date. Verify the registration independently on the Punjab RERA portal once a number is provided; marketing material cannot substitute for registration where the law requires it.

Not on the evidence currently available. The Tribune mentions an association with Salman Khan and a preview name, but GB Realty’s project page does not identify Salman Khan as a partner or design participant in the Jacob & Co. residences. A separate postponed GB Realty event is not proof of a role in this development.
Until GB Realty issues a direct confirmation, the project should be referred to as Jacob & Co. Residences, not “Salman Khan Towers.”

- Obtain a written list of Jacob & Co.-specific design elements, services, warranties and operating responsibilities.
- Check construction milestones, possession conditions, cancellation rights and the payment schedule.
- Review GB Realty’s delivered-project record and the entity responsible for post-handover management.
Most of these fields are not public yet. The sensible next step is to treat current figures as announcement-stage information and reassess only when the developer publishes a complete, approved offering.
