Those findings come from a Reviewed.com test published July 10, 2020, so they are historical results, not a current comparison with newer robot vacuums.
What the Eureka Groove review found
Reviewed.com tester Jonathan Chan reported effective dirt pickup and good edge cleaning. In that publication’s testing, the Groove also crossed most rugs and thresholds, which may help it move between common floor surfaces without getting stuck on every transition. The article listed dimensions of 13 × 13 × 3 inches, a weight of 5.6 pounds, and battery life of about 100 minutes; these are specifications reported in the 2020 review, not independently verified current measurements. Where it falls short: furniture contact and roaming control
The principal concern in Reviewed.com’s test was navigation around furniture: the robot bumped into furnishings with force. The review also reported no way to restrict where it roams other than closing doors. That combination matters in open-plan rooms and homes with delicate furniture, low or easily disturbed objects, or areas that should be kept off limits. The 2020 review does not establish how the Groove compares with current robots on obstacle avoidance or room mapping.
Setup, app control, and Wi-Fi
Eureka’s owner’s guide documents controls on the robot and remote, along with app operation and Alexa or Google Home linking. The guide says the Eureka Robot app can start or stop cleaning, change cleaning modes, adjust suction, send the robot back to charge, direct it, and schedule cleanings. App and connected-service availability can change over time.

Wi-Fi setup requires a 2.4 GHz network; the guide says a 5 GHz frequency range will not work. If a router combines both bands under one network name, check its settings or consult the router’s instructions to ensure the robot can connect on 2.4 GHz. Maintenance and replacement filters
The owner’s guide calls for regular cleaning of the dust cup, brush roll, filter, sensors, and charging contacts. It says to empty the dust cup after use, remove hair and debris from the brush roll, and keep the sensors and charging contacts clear. The guide also instructs owners to rinse and thoroughly dry the brush roll, spinner brush, and HEPA filter every three months.

One customer review hosted by a retailer reports difficulty finding replacement filters; that single report does not establish current stock or compatibility. Before buying a replacement, confirm that it is explicitly compatible with the NER300. The guide confirms that the robot uses a HEPA filter, but current compatible-part availability has not been verified. See the retailer-hosted customer reviews.

Eureka’s guide states a two-year limited warranty from the original purchase date for normal household use, subject to its terms and exclusions. It specifies coverage for the original purchaser and immediate household and requires an original purchase from an authorized Eureka reseller. Used units and purchases from unauthorized resellers should not be assumed to qualify; consult the guide for the applicable conditions.
