“Best-ever” should be understood as an attributed price record: The Verge reported that $449.99 matched the X10 Pro Omni’s lowest price to date. That does not necessarily account for every regional promotion, refurbished unit, bundle, or private coupon.

The 8,000Pa figure is a product specification, not an independent measurement of carpet-cleaning performance. Likewise, AI obstacle avoidance can reduce encounters with clutter but cannot guarantee that the robot will avoid every cable, transparent object, dark object, toy, or pet accident.
Why $449.99 was compelling
The main attraction was not simply the size of the discount. At that price, the X10 combined several convenience features that are often reserved for more expensive robot systems: automatic dust emptying, active mopping, mop-pad washing, water refilling, heated drying, mapping, and obstacle detection.
For a household with mostly hard floors and some carpet, that automation can reduce daily chores. You generally will not need to empty the robot after every run or manually wash and hang its mop pads. The rotating pads and downward pressure also make it more capable than a robot that merely drags a damp cloth across the floor.
The compromises to consider
It is not maintenance-free
The dock handles much of the routine work, but owners still need to clean the dock and sensors, remove hair and debris, maintain the brushes, refill supplies, and empty or clean the dirty-water tank. If drying fails or the dock is neglected, odors and buildup can still become problems.

The mop system is not the newest design
The dock provides heated mop drying, but the available coverage does not indicate heated mop washing. Newer systems may offer more advanced temperature-controlled washing, drying, edge cleaning, or mop-lift behavior. Those differences matter if you have many rugs, frequent muddy footprints, or high expectations for dock hygiene.
Vacuuming hardware is midrange
The X10 uses a single rubber-and-bristle roller brush. It can be a sensible choice for ordinary carpet and hard-floor cleaning, but newer or competing models may use different brush designs or anti-tangle systems that handle long hair and pet fur better.
Object avoidance has limits
Do not treat “AI-powered” as permission to leave cords, small toys, socks, or pet messes in the robot’s path. A tidy floor plan improves reliability, and homes with heavy clutter may require more preparation than the marketing suggests.

By late 2026, the X10 is an older midrange platform. Amazon product data showed the X10 listing alongside a newer Eufy C28 model, although that information alone does not establish that the C28 is an official direct replacement. It does mean buyers should compare current pricing and features rather than assuming the old list price still represents good value.

Is it still worth buying?
Buy it if the live price is close to $449.99 and you want a highly automated vacuum-and-mop system for mixed floors. The X10 remains most attractive to shoppers who value automatic emptying, mop maintenance, app-based room controls, and a discounted, established model.
Be cautious at a substantially higher price. At that point, compare a newer Eufy model such as the C28 and current Roborock, Dreame, Shark, or Roomba hybrids. Look beyond suction numbers: compare brush design, hair handling, carpet detection, mop lifting, pad washing and drying, navigation, replacement parts, warranty coverage, and the seller’s return policy.
If you do not need mopping, a vacuum-only robot may provide better carpet-focused performance for less money. If you have delicate rugs, verify how the robot lifts or avoids its mop pads and whether the app supports room-specific settings.

What to check before ordering
- Confirm that the displayed price is for the X10 Pro Omni, not a replacement model, accessory, refurbished unit, or different bundle.
- Check the final checkout price. The Eufy offer required a code, and promotional codes can expire or exclude colors and bundles.
- Confirm the seller of record, shipping date, warranty, and return terms.
- Compare the live price of newer models before paying substantially more than the documented $449.99 low.
- Make sure you have a maintenance routine for the dirty-water tank, brushes, sensors, dock, and mop-washing area.
