Eufy launched the Omni C28 robot vacuum on February 6, 2026, after showing it at CES. Its headline feature is a 5-in-1 Omni Station that empties dust, washes and dries the mop, supplies clean water and collects wastewater. The lower-price claim is genuine in the UK and Europe, where launch pricing was reported at £649 and €599, but US pricing is currently inconsistent across Eufy’s own pages.
That makes the C28 potentially significant for buyers who want flagship-style dock automation without paying Omni S2 pricing—but the available evidence still does not establish its real-world carpet cleaning, battery life, navigation reliability or long-term maintenance costs.

The product is officially called the Eufy Robot Vacuum Omni C28, although some coverage shortens the name to Eufy C28. It sits below the more expensive Omni S2 in Eufy’s range and is intended to bring several high-end automation features to a lower price point.

T3 reported launch prices of £649 in the UK and €599 in Europe, describing the C28 as roughly half the price of the Omni S2. That comparison should not be read as a universal claim that the C28 costs half as much as every earlier Eufy robot vacuum. It refers to a particular flagship comparison, market and price basis.
The C28’s main proposition is not simply stronger suction. It combines a robot vacuum and roller mop with a station designed to handle much of the repetitive work after cleaning.
What does the 5-in-1 station do?
Eufy says the Omni Station performs five functions:
- Automatic dust emptying: The robot transfers collected dust into the station rather than requiring the owner to empty the robot after every run.
- Mop washing: The station washes the roller mop after use.
- Clean-water refilling: It supplies fresh water for the mopping system.
- Hot-air drying: Heated air dries the mop after washing, which is intended to reduce lingering moisture.
- Wastewater collection: Dirty water is collected in the station rather than remaining on the mop or floor.
These functions reduce routine intervention, but “5-in-1” does not mean maintenance-free. The owner will still need to manage clean and wastewater, replace dust bags or other consumables where required, clean tanks and filters, inspect the roller and brushes, clear blockages and wipe sensors. Hot-air drying may help with dampness and odour, but it cannot compensate for dirty tanks, residue or infrequent cleaning.

- 【𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬-𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐉𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦】Refreshes the roller mop 2 times per second with clean water, ensuring every pass is spotless and preventing cross-contamination. Removes tough stains like coffee and sauce. True deep-cleaning for whole-home hygiene.
- 【𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐥𝐥-𝐢𝐧-𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧】Auto-empties dust into a 3L bag (lasts ~75 days), self-washes roller mops, hot air dries at 50°C, and auto-refills water. Complete hands-free convenience for large homes with up to 5 floor plans.
- 【𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝟐𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠】Lifts deeply embedded dirt and pet hair from carpet fibers, captures dust in grout lines, and removes food crumbs and allergens.

- 【𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐑𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠】Extends to scrub along baseboards, furniture legs, and tight corners. Works on hard floors, wood, tile, and short carpet. 10.8mm mop lift protects carpets; 21mm climbing navigates thresholds.
The station also needs a practical installation location: a level floor, power, enough clearance for the robot to enter and leave, and regular access for tank or consumable maintenance. The available launch information does not establish the C28’s tank capacities, dust-bag configuration or whether a plumbing or drainage kit is available in every market.
Cleaning hardware: what Eufy claims
Up to 15,000Pa suction
Eufy lists suction of up to 15,000Pa. This is a manufacturer-stated maximum, not an independently measured cleaning result. Pascal figures cannot by themselves predict how well a robot will collect dust, pet hair or larger debris. Brush design, airflow, floor type, cleaning passes and software settings all affect the result.
HydroJet roller mop
The C28 uses Eufy’s HydroJet self-cleaning roller mop rather than a simple passive mop pad. T3 described the system as continuously supplying fresh water to the roller while a scraper removes dirty water and debris. That description should be treated as attributed launch reporting rather than independent proof of mopping performance.
Recommended Free Tools
A roller may appeal to households that want a more active wet-cleaning system on hard floors. It also introduces more parts that can collect hair, grit and residue. Buyers should expect to inspect the roller, scraper, water channels and station inlet rather than assuming the self-cleaning label eliminates manual cleaning.

DuoSpiral detangle brush
Eufy lists a DuoSpiral detangle brush, aimed at reducing hair tangles. That could be useful in homes with pets or long hair, but “detangle” is a design claim, not a guarantee that hair will never need to be removed manually.
Navigation and app features
The C28 uses Eufy’s iPath 2.0 Smart Navigation. Eufy says the system is designed to support obstacle avoidance, including navigation in low light and beneath furniture. Those are manufacturer claims; the available research does not provide independent failure rates or mapping tests.
Launch coverage says the app can be used to customise cleaning routines and adjust room maps. However, the available information does not establish every app control, such as room-specific schedules, no-go zones, carpet settings, mop preferences or the precise way the robot handles carpets.

How much cheaper is the C28?
There is no single worldwide price. The following figures reflect the cited launch report and prices observed on Eufy pages; they may change with promotions, region and availability.
| Market | Price signal | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| UK | £649 | Reported launch price from T3 |
| Europe | €599 | Reported launch price from T3 |
| US product page | $799.99 | Displayed on Eufy’s dedicated C28 page |
| US collection pages | $449.99–$499.99 | Lower promotional or catalogue figures shown on Eufy collection pages |
The safest conclusion is that the C28 launched at £649 / €599 in the markets reported by T3, while Eufy’s US pages showed conflicting prices. A collection-page discount may be a temporary sale, regional merchandising or catalogue inconsistency rather than the permanent US list price. Verify the exact model, promotion, shipping terms and final checkout total before treating the C28 as a bargain.
For comparison, the retrieved Eufy catalogue showed the Omni S2 at $1,399.99, the X10 Pro Omni at $479.99 and the Omni C20 at $329.99. Those are catalogue price signals, not a complete specification comparison or a guarantee of current availability. The C28 should not automatically be preferred over a discounted, better-tested alternative simply because its launch positioning was below the S2.

The launch material establishes the feature set and headline pricing, but not several facts that matter in daily use:
Best Value
- 𝐀𝐥𝐥-𝐢𝐧-𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐩 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡 & 𝐃𝐫𝐲: The Omni Station automatically empties dust into a large 3.1 L bag (up to 60 days*), washes and dries mop pads with room-temperature air (just 1.56W/hr)—you never touch a dustbin or mop pad. Transparent tanks show clean and dirty water levels at a glance, so you always know when to top up. *Based on a 3-person household without pets; intervals vary.
- 𝐕𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐮𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: The C20 robot vacuum and mop combo vacuums and mops simultaneously via the app for faster full-floor cleaning. Mop Master applies 6N of downward pressure at 180 RPM to scrub away dried stains on hardwood, tile, and laminate. When carpet is detected, the mop auto-lifts to keep it dry. For stubborn spots, Zone Cleaning lets you mop the same area twice. Note: For carpet pile over 20mm / 0.78 in., set No-Go Zones in the app.
- 𝟕,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 + 𝐍𝐨 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬: Boost IQ automatically adjusts suction up to 7,000 Pa to lift embedded dirt, crumbs, and pet hair from carpets and hard floors. The Pro-Detangle Comb flips down mid-clean to loosen hair wrapped around the roller brush—less untangling, more consistent suction. Note: Actual performance varies by floor type and debris level.
- 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐰 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟑𝟐 𝐌𝐢𝐧: At just 3.35 inches (85mm) tall, the C20 slides under sofas, beds, and cabinets with as little as 3.54" clearance. Runs up to 132 min on Standard mode—then auto-recharges and resumes until the entire floor is done. iPath Laser Navigation maps efficient routes and stores up to 3 floor maps for multi-floor homes.
- 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚, 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 & 𝐀𝐩𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥—𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬: Set schedules, No-Go Zones, and room/zone cleaning modes in the eufy Clean app. Voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Child Safety Lock prevents accidental starts. Note: Boundary strips are not included or compatible with this model.
- Independent pickup and mopping results
- Battery runtime and recharge time
- Noise levels
- Obstacle-avoidance reliability
- Threshold-climbing ability
- Deep-carpet performance
- Mop-lifting behaviour around carpets
- Water-tank and dust-bag capacities
- Replacement roller, bag, filter and cleaning-solution costs
- Long-term reliability
- Cloud, account and privacy requirements
- Territory-specific warranty and service terms
- Whether plumbing or optional drainage hardware is required for automatic water handling
Those gaps matter because a robot can have impressive specifications yet be a poor fit for a cluttered home, thick carpets or an owner who does not want recurring dock maintenance.
Who is the Omni C28 for?
The C28 is most promising for buyers who have mostly hard floors and want a robot that can vacuum and wet-clean with less daily intervention. It may also interest homes with pets or long hair, provided the DuoSpiral brush performs as intended in independent use.
It is a logical product to investigate if you want a roller mop and automated washing, drying and water handling but consider the Omni S2 too expensive. The decision becomes less clear if the C28’s actual selling price approaches that of an alternative with stronger independent testing or a better-established service record.
Who should be cautious?
- Carpet-focused households: The available evidence does not establish deep-carpet pickup or mop-lifting performance.
- Cluttered rooms: Cables, toys, clothing and small objects are useful real-world tests of obstacle avoidance, which has not been independently quantified here.
- Small homes: A multifunction dock can take more floor space than a basic charging base.
- Low-maintenance buyers: Automated washing and drying still leave tanks, filters, brushes, rollers and consumables to manage.
- Privacy-conscious users: Confirm account, app and cloud requirements before purchase.
- Buyers outside the launch markets: Check local availability, plug type, accessories, warranty and app-region support.
What to check before buying
- Confirm the regional model: UK, European and US versions may differ in accessories, plugs, software, warranty and availability.
- Check the live checkout price: Do not rely on a search result or collection-page price alone.
- Measure the dock location: Allow room for entry, exit, opening tanks and replacing consumables.
- Calculate running costs: Check dust bags, filters, side brushes, roller-mop parts and any approved cleaning solution.
- Ask how water is handled: Establish the tank sizes, refill and emptying routine, and whether plumbing or drainage accessories are supported in your territory.
- Check carpet behaviour: Look for confirmed mop-lifting, no-mop-zone and carpet-detection details if your home combines hard floors and carpets.
- Review app and privacy requirements: Confirm supported phones, accounts, connectivity and data handling.
- Read the local warranty and returns policy: Service terms are not necessarily identical across countries.
Verdict
The Eufy Omni C28 is a real 2026 product launch with a compelling specification: a 5-in-1 station, roller-mop system, up-to-15,000Pa manufacturer-stated suction and automated mop washing and drying. Its UK and European launch prices are materially below the Omni S2 pricing used in the launch comparison.
But the value is highly market-dependent. In the US, Eufy’s dedicated product page and collection pages showed sharply different prices, so the “much lower price” claim cannot be applied without naming the exact listing and date. More importantly, the available evidence does not yet prove how the C28 performs on carpets, pet hair, clutter, noise or long-term maintenance.
Consider the C28 if the live price is genuinely below flagship territory and your priority is automated hard-floor vacuuming and mopping. Treat the 15,000Pa, anti-tangle and navigation claims as specifications and design promises—not substitutes for independent cleaning and reliability evidence.
