They are commercially available products, not merely CES concepts—but they solve very different problems.
LilMilo is a warm, expressive, voice- and touch-responsive companion robot. It is not an autonomous dog that walks, fetches, guards a home, or performs household chores. The ULTRAMARINE P1 is a more conventional service robot: it is designed to collect pool debris and reduce manual cleaning, but it does not replace water-chemistry testing or every part of routine pool maintenance.

What ECOVACS has added to its robot lineup
ECOVACS’s broader U.S. portfolio now includes DEEBOT floor-cleaning robots, WINBOT window cleaners, GOAT robotic lawn mowers, ULTRAMARINE pool cleaners and FAMIBOT companion robots. That suggests a wider service-robot strategy across the home and property—not one unified system in which every robot automatically coordinates with the others. The available information confirms a shared brand, not cross-product household automation.

FAMIBOT LilMilo: a robotic pet companion
ECOVACS calls LilMilo an AI companion robot. Its dog-like appearance, bark-style sounds, moving neck, facial expressions and soft bio-fur explain why it is often described as a robotic dog, but the distinction matters: LilMilo is primarily designed for social interaction rather than useful quadruped mobility.

What LilMilo is designed to do
- See: A camera in the nose recognizes surroundings and faces, according to ECOVACS.
- Listen: A three-microphone array helps it locate voices, recognize its name, distinguish speakers and react to music.
- Respond to touch: Sensors in areas such as the ears, chin, head and back respond to pressure, rhythm and contact duration.
- Express simulated emotion: The company describes seven emotional types at three intensity levels—21 stated emotional states in total.
- Develop a personality: ECOVACS lists traits including gentle, sunny, affectionate, sensitive and grumpy, and says personality changes through interaction.
- Provide physical presence: The company lists constant body warmth of 38°C (100.4°F), expressive eyes and three-degree-of-freedom neck movement.
ECOVACS also claims more than 40 sensors, a built-in large language model, long-term memory and offline operation. Those are manufacturer descriptions of the product’s design and behavior, not independent evidence that LilMilo understands human emotions or possesses human-like feelings.
Battery and price
The U.S. product page lists up to 360 minutes of use and charging to 50% in 30 minutes. “Up to” is a best-case specification; movement, sound, sensing and interaction can affect actual runtime.
When checked on August 16–18, 2026, LilMilo White was listed at $599, with $799 shown as a crossed-out reference price. Prices and stock can change. The product page showed zero reviews and zero questions at that time, so its long-term durability and everyday performance are less independently established than those of ECOVACS’s mature vacuum products.

LilMilo privacy: what buyers should check
LilMilo combines a camera, microphones, facial recognition, owner recognition and memory features. ECOVACS says its vision function does not store images, that registered facial data is transcoded and stored locally, and that the camera turns off automatically in sleep mode. The company also says LilMilo supports one registered owner and up to five registered friends.
These statements should not be treated as a blanket privacy guarantee. Before setup, check the current privacy information, account requirements, firmware-update practices, voice-data handling and which functions truly work offline. If an always-listening microphone is uncomfortable, place the robot away from private conversations. Also verify that any camera-off indicator reflects the device’s actual state rather than relying only on an app setting.
ULTRAMARINE P1: a cordless robotic pool cleaner
The ULTRAMARINE P1 is the more practical of the two launches. It is intended to automate routine pool cleaning without a permanently connected cable. ECOVACS’s U.S. listing gives these headline specifications:

These are manufacturer specifications, not independently tested performance results. Runtime and coverage can vary with pool size, shape, surface, slope, debris load and cleaning pattern.
What the P1 does not replace
A robotic cleaner can reduce manual brushing, vacuuming and debris collection, but it is not a complete pool-maintenance system. It does not test or balance chlorine, pH, alkalinity or stabilizer. It may not replace skimming, filter backwashing, water-level checks or seasonal maintenance. A cordless design also still requires charging, filter-basket emptying, rinsing, storage and inspection.
The available product listing does not establish every compatibility detail, including whether the P1 reliably climbs a particular pool’s walls, cleans the waterline, handles unusual surfaces or works with every geometry. Confirm those points in the current manual and model specifications before buying. If the robot becomes stranded or runs low on power, owners should also know the recommended retrieval and charging procedure.

ECOVACS’s U.S. shop advertises free shipping over $49.99 and a general 30-day return policy. Its general warranty language specifies one year for DEEBOT, WINBOT, GOAT and ULTRAMARINE products, but does not explicitly name FAMIBOT in the wording cited here. Confirm LilMilo’s product-specific warranty before purchase. The retailer locator lists channels including ECOVACS, Amazon, Best Buy and Costco, although stock and terms vary by product.
