Fairfield Glade Community Club says visitors should check in at the Golf Garage, where food and beverage options are limited. Check the official Druid Hills page for current access and service updates.
What is open at Druid Hills?
The distinction is between the golf course and the clubhouse: the operator’s current Druid Hills page lists the course as open while saying the clubhouse is nearing occupancy and construction continues. That status does not mean the new clubhouse is open to visitors.
For the latest visitor-facing information, consult Fairfield Glade’s Druid Hills page before going. The page identifies the Golf Garage as the current check-in location and notes limited food and beverage offerings there.
What visitors should expect during construction
- Check-in: Use the Golf Garage, rather than expecting to check in at the new clubhouse.
- Food and beverage: Offerings at the Golf Garage are limited; the official page does not specify a menu or service hours.
- Clubhouse access: The operator describes the building as still under construction. Do not assume that planned clubhouse facilities are available until the operator announces they are open.
What the project includes—and what the schedule means
At the April 28, 2025 groundbreaking, the Fairfield Glade Community Club’s clubhouse plan was reported as approximately 22,700 square feet, with indoor and veranda dining and a pro shop. The building is adjacent to The Quarry putting course and Golf Garage, according to the Crossville Chronicle report published April 30, 2025.

That report gave an approximately 15-month construction period as an estimate from the time of groundbreaking. It was a projection, not confirmation of a completion or opening date. Later updates described work in progress: a July 1, 2025 community newsletter said site preparation was nearing completion after blasting to remove rock for a basement and golf-cart storage, with footers and foundation framing expected next (The Vista, July 1, 2025). An October 14, 2025 newsletter reported basement waterproofing and backfilling underway, with structural steel installation anticipated (The Vista, October 14, 2025).
The wider Druid Hills project also includes a planned 35,000-square-foot family-friendly putting course, a separate facility element from the clubhouse’s reported 22,700 square feet. That figure appeared in a Crossville Chronicle story republished by Yahoo on April 19, 2025: “Druid Hills Clubhouse to break ground April 28”.
