There is no verified, comprehensive list of Donald Trump’s personally owned homes as of October 8, 2026. The available financial disclosures are dated snapshots, not a current property register. They identify several residences and estates at particular dates, while company records also describe properties that were later sold. The White House is his official residence as president, not a privately owned Trump home.
What the public records can—and cannot—establish
Trump’s financial disclosures dated June 30, 2018, June 30, 2020, and June 30, 2021 describe assets at those dates. They do not establish who holds title to each property today. Some entries describe homes held through wholly owned entities rather than directly in Trump’s name. The Trump Organization’s property pages and biography provide context, but are not a comprehensive title register. The 2020 disclosure, the 2021 disclosure, and the 2018 disclosure should therefore be read as dated records, not a present-day ownership list.
The distinction matters: a property can be a residence, a club, a hotel or development asset, or a property associated with a company without being a personally owned house. The records below identify what the sources say and when they say it.
Homes and estates identified in dated disclosures
| Property | Location and type | What the dated evidence says | Current-status confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trump Tower triplex | New York City; apartment | The June 2020 and June 2021 disclosures describe a triplex apartment occupying the building’s top three floors. A 2025 New York appellate decision discusses the litigation over its stated size, identifying 10,996 square feet as the actual area in that dispute. The court decision addresses that legal issue; it does not establish the apartment’s status in October 2026. | Not established by the cited materials. |
| Seven Springs | Bedford, New York; estate | The 2020 and 2021 disclosures describe the estate. The Trump Organization calls it a 250-acre estate in its biography; that is the company’s description, not an independently surveyed current area. The company’s Seven Springs page provides property context. | Dated disclosures do not verify current title. |
| Le Chateau des Palmiers | St. Martin; estate | The 2020 and 2021 disclosures describe a five-acre estate held through wholly owned entities. | Historical disclosure only; current title is not verified. |
| Three homes adjacent to Mar-a-Lago | Palm Beach, Florida; homes | The June 2018 disclosure says Trump owned three adjacent homes. That statement is specific to the 2018 snapshot. | The sources do not establish how many, if any, remain owned. |
| Beverly Hills home | Beverly Hills, California; home | The 2018 disclosure describes a home held through wholly owned entities. | Current ownership is not established. |
| Mar-a-Lago | Palm Beach, Florida; private club with residential character | A 2025 appellate decision discusses the property’s R-AA zoning and a use agreement that includes conditional reversion language. The court describes Trump as a “holder of a contingent reversionary interest in the Property” in its discussion of a development-rights deed. This is a legally specific interest, not a simple statement of direct ownership of an ordinary private house. | The decision addresses particular legal issues; it is not a current title determination. |
Does Trump own Mar-a-Lago?
Mar-a-Lago is associated with Trump as a private club and has residential character, but its legal and land-use arrangements are more complicated than the phrase “his house” suggests. The 2025 appellate decision discusses R-AA zoning, the use agreement, and a contingent reversionary interest. Those details matter because they describe specific rights and restrictions; they should not be collapsed into an unqualified claim about current personal title. The court’s decision is the relevant source for that legal context.

Is the White House one of Trump’s houses?
No. The White House is the president’s official residence, not a privately owned Trump property. The White House biography identifies Donald J. Trump as the sitting president following the 2024 election. The official biography establishes his office, not ownership of the residence.
Properties that should not be counted as current homes
The Trump Organization’s biography records sales that distinguish past property history from current ownership. It says the estate at 515 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach sold for $100 million. It also says the penthouse apartment at Trump International Hotel & Tower in New York City sold for $33 million in March 2010. Those are reported historical transactions, not evidence of homes Trump owns now. The company biography is the source for both sale figures.

The same caution applies to hotels, golf clubs, developments, and buildings bearing the Trump name. A brand association or business connection does not by itself establish that Trump personally owns a residence there. The legal owner and the nature of the interest need to be identified before counting an asset as a home.

- “Owned through wholly owned entities” describes an entity holding the property, rather than saying Trump held direct personal title.
- A disclosure entry establishes what was reported for the disclosure date, not a guarantee that ownership continued afterward.
- A company property page can describe a property but is not, on its own, a current title record.
- A court decision may clarify a particular dispute or legal interest without resolving every question about present ownership.
For a definitive inventory as of October 8, 2026, a reader would need current deeds, entity records, or a later comprehensive financial disclosure. The cited historical disclosures and property descriptions do not provide that verification.
