What are the five temperature presets?
The CO108-NK uses five fixed temperature settings, labeled for common drinks on the kettle’s controls:

For elevations of 3,881–9,255 feet (1,183–2,820 metres), it recommends the Coffee preset; at 9,256 feet (2,821 metres) and above, it recommends Oolong. COSORI also advertises a 3–5 minute boil time, but the product information does not provide a test method or conditions. Treat that as a manufacturer claim rather than a verified result for every fill volume, starting-water temperature or outlet.

Original versus Smart: which COSORI kettle is this?
The five-preset title describes the Original CO108-NK. COSORI lists a separate Smart Electric Gooseneck Kettle, so features should not be carried across between the two models.

How to descale and clean it
COSORI advises unplugging the kettle and letting it cool before cleaning. For mineral deposits, its product-page method uses lemon or distilled vinegar with water, boils the mixture, then wipes remaining deposits with a non-abrasive cloth, sponge or brush. COSORI says not to use steel wool.
COSORI recommends descaling at least weekly with frequent use. That is the manufacturer’s suggested schedule; how quickly scale forms depends on the water and frequency of use.
