Springs at Abbey Crossing is planned as a gated, garden-style apartment community with 330 homes in two- to three-story buildings. The site is in the San Antonio postal area of Pasco County; the available project information does not establish that it lies within San Antonio’s municipal limits. LandSouth Construction describes the development as two- to three-story apartments on its project page.
The apartment project is one part of Abbey Crossings, a broader mixed-use development planned to include residential, retail, office and industrial uses. Descriptions and acreage figures for the larger development vary, so a master-plan acreage is not specified here.

LandSouth lists Springs at Abbey Crossing among its current projects open for bidding. That listing indicates it is soliciting bids for some project work; it does not establish that every trade is open or that bid opportunities will remain available at publication.

What apartment layouts and features are planned?
The planned mix ranges from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Continental Properties says homes will include smart-home technology, and select residences are planned to have attached garages. The announcement does not establish the number of homes in each layout or which smart-home features will be included.
What amenities are planned?
The developer’s September 20, 2026 announcement lists a pickleball court, dog park, grilling areas, fire pits, bocce and cornhole courts, a hammock park and electric-vehicle charging spaces. These are proposed community features, not confirmation that they are already complete or available.

When are pre-leasing and the first building expected?
Continental Properties’ announced schedule calls for pre-leasing to begin in spring 2027, clubhouse completion in August 2027 and delivery of the first residential building in September 2027. These are target milestones and may change as construction progresses.
