Débranchez le coupe-bordure ou retirez sa batterie avant d’ouvrir le logement de la bobine. Ensuite, retirez le capot, sortez la bobine et remplacez-la par une bobine pré-enroulée compatible ou rechargez-la avec du fil en vrac autorisé pour votre modèle. Comme la référence et le diamètre varient selon les appareils BLACK+DECKER, vérifiez la notice et l’étiquette de votre outil avant d’acheter du fil ou une bobine.
Avant de commencer : vérifiez le modèle et le fil compatible
Relevez le modèle sur l’étiquette de l’appareil, puis consultez sa notice pour connaître la référence de bobine, le diamètre et le type de fil recommandés. N’achetez pas une pièce sur la seule base de la marque : des références comme AF-100 et A6482-XJ ne sont pas établies comme interchangeables.
Pour les modèles couverts par certaines notices BLACK+DECKER, le fabricant précise une bobine AF-100 et du fil nylon monofilament rond de 1,65 mm (0,065 po). La notice du LST522 indique également du fil rond de 1,65 mm. Ce diamètre ne convient pas nécessairement à tous les coupe-bordures de la marque. BLACK+DECKER France présente aussi une bobine Reflex A6482-XJ de 6 m, tandis que la notice du BESTA510 documente une configuration distincte. Consultez la notice propre à votre appareil avant de choisir une référence ou un diamètre (notice BLACK+DECKER couvrant l’AF-100 ; notice officielle du LST522 ; notice officielle du BESTA510 ; bobine Reflex A6482-XJ).
Choisir entre une bobine pré-enroulée et du fil en vrac

Remplacer ou recharger la bobine
- Mettez l’appareil hors tension. Débranchez un modèle filaire ou retirez la batterie d’un modèle sans fil. La notice du LST522 demande expressément de retirer le bloc-piles avant le remplacement (notice officielle du LST522 ; instructions BLACK+DECKER UK pour une bobine à double fil).
- Ouvrez le logement. Appuyez sur les languettes de libération du capot, puis retirez-le. La forme et l’emplacement des languettes dépendent du modèle. Sortez la bobine et enlevez les bouts de fil cassé et les débris de coupe (notice BLACK+DECKER couvrant l’AF-100 ; notice officielle du LST522).
- Installez une bobine pré-enroulée ou gardez la bobine pour la recharger. Dans les deux cas, suivez la référence et les consignes de la notice correspondant à votre appareil.
- Si vous rechargez la bobine, fixez le fil dans l’orifice ou la fente prévu. Enroulez-le dans le sens indiqué par la flèche, régulièrement et sans croiser les spires. Ne surchargez pas la bobine. Sur certaines configurations à double fil, il faut charger les deux sections et dégager les extrémités des encoches de maintien avant le montage (notice BLACK+DECKER couvrant l’AF-100 ; notice officielle du BESTA510 ; instructions BLACK+DECKER UK pour une bobine à double fil).
- Remontez la bobine. Passez l’extrémité du fil dans l’œillet, orientez la bobine comme indiqué dans la notice et remettez-la dans son logement. Alignez les languettes du capot et appuyez jusqu’à ce qu’il s’enclenche. Si l’extrémité dépasse la longueur prescrite, coupez-la selon les consignes du fabricant.
- Contrôlez l’avance du fil. Si le fil ne sort pas normalement, retirez le capot et vérifiez qu’il n’est ni croisé ni coincé et que la bobine est correctement installée.
Si le fil casse ou se déroule trop vite
- Le fil casse fréquemment : des pierres, des branches ou des mauvaises herbes épaisses peuvent le rompre. Dégagez les débris avant de travailler (assistance BLACK+DECKER France sur l’usure rapide du fil).
- Le fil se déroule en continu : BLACK+DECKER indique qu’un mécanisme d’avance automatique endommagé peut provoquer ce problème et nécessiter une réparation (assistance BLACK+DECKER France sur l’usure rapide du fil).
- Le coupe-bordure tourne lentement après le remontage : vérifiez que le fil n’est pas emmêlé, que la bobine tourne librement et que l’extrémité ne dépasse pas la longueur prévue. Si la bobine ne s’emboîte pas, ne la forcez pas : contrôlez sa référence et son orientation dans la notice.
- Le fil est croisé ou coincé : retirez la bobine, nettoyez-la ainsi que son logement, puis rembobinez proprement dans le sens de la flèche (notice officielle du BESTA510).
