Sometimes—but only for a specific, ready-to-water setup. Ecopool says its FastTrack option can have an on-ground pool ready for water in 30 minutes. That describes a narrow installation milestone, not the time needed to prepare a property, connect utilities, secure permits, or complete every pool project.
What “installed in minutes” means
The 30-minute claim comes from Ecopool’s FastTrack program for an on-ground pool. The company describes the pool as arriving ready to add water; the claim does not establish that every container pool, site, or configuration can be completed in that time. Ecopool’s installation information also gives different estimates for other setups.
Factory assembly can reduce construction at the property, but it does not remove the work required to get the site ready and make the pool usable. It helps to distinguish the placement or setup time from delivery-to-first-swim and order-to-swim timelines.

These figures are company estimates for different scopes, configurations, and locations, so they are not interchangeable or a universal standard. Ecopool’s product FAQ also says a simple on-ground installation may take as little as a day, while its FastTrack page describes the narrower 30-minute ready-to-add-water claim.

Why configuration and site conditions change the schedule
On-ground placement
An on-ground pool may avoid excavation, which can make placement simpler. The base still needs to be suitable, and delivery and crane access must work at the property. A short setup estimate should not be assumed to include utilities or finishing unless the quote says so.
Partially buried or inground installation
Burial adds excavation and potentially other site work. Ecopool’s estimate for these installations is 2–4 days, depending on excavation and location. Actual timing depends on the design and conditions at the property.

Delivery, connections, and finishing
Modpools says it builds and tests pools at its Abbotsford, British Columbia factory, then ships them fully assembled by flatbed. A local general contractor or landscaper handles installation. Crane placement and utility connections are part of its delivery-day installation description; site preparation is listed separately. Decking and landscaping may add further work, as reflected in the Texas contractor’s project sequence.
Permits and coordination to settle before delivery
Modpools says permits are required in most municipalities in Canada and the United States. Requirements depend on the local authority and project design, so confirm them with your municipality before scheduling delivery. The manufacturer also notes that crane access and utility work need coordination.

- Confirm whether the pool is on-ground, partially buried, or inground, and what work that choice entails.
- Ask when the quoted clock starts: at crane placement, delivery, or after site preparation.
- Verify that the base is ready and that the delivery vehicle and crane can reach the placement area.
- Agree who is responsible for electrical and plumbing connections, and when those connections will be completed.
- Ask whether the quote includes permits, decking, landscaping, and other finishing work.
How to assess a fast-installation quote
Request a schedule with separate milestones for site preparation, delivery and placement, utility connections, and first swim. That makes it possible to compare a minutes-long placement claim with estimates that cover a full project. Ask the installer to identify assumptions about excavation, access, local permits, and finishing in writing.
