What was the reported sale price?
TMZ reported on January 12, 2025, that the four-bedroom home sold for $2.5 million, with the closing said to have occurred on Friday, January 10. The outlet attributed the transaction details to real-estate sources. Its phrase “full asking price” refers to the asking price in effect when the sale closed, not the earlier October list price.
TMZ’s report described the sale this way: “Bobby Berk’s former pad in the Hollywood Hills has strutted off the market in style, fetching the full asking price … TMZ has learned.” This is TMZ’s narration, not a statement from Berk or his representative.
How did the sale price compare with the earlier prices?

The reporting also does not explain when or why the asking price changed from the initial $2.75 million.

What was the house like?
TMZ described the property as a modern, four-bedroom home measuring 2,924 square feet. Its report highlighted a primary suite with a spa-like bathroom and large walk-in closet; a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, marble counters, and brass cabinets; floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area; and three custom fireplaces. It also described an outdoor entertaining area with panoramic city views and a countertop grill. These are details reported in media coverage, not an independent inspection.
A property-listing result identifies the residence as 3020 Hollycrest Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068, and describes it as a home Berk designed and owned. ELLE Decor described the residence as serving as his Los Angeles headquarters.

What renovation and outdoor details were reported?
Mansion Global attributed additional details to the listing agent: Berk had remodeled the interiors, the primary bedroom was expanded by enclosing a patio, and the backyard had been redone with multiple gathering levels. The report said outdoor furniture could be purchased with the home, but did not identify a specific furniture product or establish its current availability.
