These are seller representations; no independent test confirming the performance or savings claims is established here.

It also warns that displayed information and pricing can change. Read the terms shown at checkout rather than assuming the guarantee will make a return straightforward.
No court or regulator determination, confirmed certification status, or independent BlumeHeat-specific laboratory result is established in the available evidence. In particular, there is no verified wattage, measured room coverage, energy-saving percentage or model-specific heating-rate test to support precise performance comparisons.

Can a plug-in heater heat a room or lower a heating bill?
The U.S. Department of Energy defines a portable electric heater as an electric heater intended to be moved within a structure and connected to the electricity supply by a cord and plug. It describes supplementary heaters as providing heat in addition to a primary heating system. That is the sensible category in which to assess a portable plug-in unit: supplemental heat, not an assumed replacement for central heating.
For an ordinary electric-resistance heater, electricity is converted into heat. This does not mean all heaters deliver the same comfort, airflow or room-heating rate. It does mean a resistance heater cannot produce more heat energy than the electricity it consumes. Extraordinary claims of substantial heat with almost no electricity need credible, model-specific evidence.

The Department of Energy’s homeowner guide says electric-resistance room heaters are not typically cost-effective for whole-house heating in average or larger homes with minimal or average insulation, though they may suit supplemental heating or infrequently used rooms in some circumstances. The guide dates from 2011, so it is not a current utility-bill comparison. Your result depends on local electricity rates, climate, insulation, heater wattage, thermostat use and what heating system the unit supplements.
What to check before buying a portable heater
Do not rely on a broad “energy-saving” percentage unless the seller explains the test method, comparison baseline, location and operating conditions. Compare products using information you can verify:
