What the $99 Blink Outdoor 4 deal included

What Outdoor 4 offers

Does Blink Outdoor 4 require a subscription?
Not for every basic function. Blink’s plan information lists motion notifications and Live View among features available at no cost. Person detection and cloud storage are subscription features. Local storage
Amazon says clips can be saved locally with a Sync Module and a separately sold USB drive. A later Amazon announcement describes local storage through a separately sold microSD card with Sync Module Pro. These are different storage routes; check current compatibility and the required media for the specific module and camera before purchasing. What to check before buying the kit
- Live price and contents: Confirm the current listing price and exactly what is included; the $99 offer was from Prime Day 2025.
- Subscription fit: Decide whether motion alerts and Live View are sufficient, or whether person detection and cloud clip storage justify a paid plan in your region.
- Storage setup: If you prefer local recordings, verify the module, USB drive or microSD card compatibility for the setup you plan to use.
- Placement and coverage: The stated 143-degree diagonal view can help cover an area, but camera position and obstructions still affect what the camera sees.
- Power expectations: Treat “up to two years” as Blink’s battery-life claim, not a promise for every installation.
