For installation, consider the faucet and bidet as a system. A faucet must suit the fixture’s hole layout and mounting provisions, as well as the required valves and connections.

KOHLER’s product copy says, “This bidet faucet includes everything needed to outfit your bidet, including lever handles, a vertical spray, and easy-to-install and leak-free UltraGlide(TM) valves.” Treat “everything needed” and “leak-free” as the manufacturer’s claims, not independent verification. Confirm the contents for the exact SKU and what the installation requires before ordering.
How to compare vertical bidet faucets
Verify the bidet’s holes and mounting arrangement
Check the faucet-hole count and layout on the bidet, and whether its specifications call for a fixture-mount bidet faucet and a transfer valve or vacuum breaker. KOHLER’s San Tropez K-4854 is a separate vertical-spray bidet fixture with four faucet holes; its product page says it is drilled for a fixture-mount bidet faucet and vacuum breaker and supports above- or below-floor rough-in. This is one fixture example, not a universal requirement or a guarantee that any particular faucet fits it.

Compare the specifications for the exact faucet and bidet before purchase. If the existing rough-in or connections are unclear, ask a qualified plumbing professional to confirm the installation requirements.
Confirm the spray configuration
Look for the manufacturer to explicitly identify the faucet as a vertical bidet faucet or describe its vertical spray. Do not assume that a hose or wall-mounted sprayer qualifies because it appears under a retailer’s bidet-faucet category.

Choose controls and finish for the actual model
Retail listings show both one-handle and multi-handle products, along with multiple finishes. Those options help narrow style and control preferences, but category filters are discovery tools—not evidence of compatibility. Check which handle arrangement and finish are available for the exact model and SKU; listings and availability can change.
Check package contents and installation requirements
Before comparing prices, identify whether the package includes the handles, transfer valve/vacuum breaker, pop-up drain, lift rod, tailpiece, supply connections and mounting hardware—or whether any item must be purchased separately. KOHLER lists several components for the Loure, but package contents should be confirmed for the exact product configuration. Review the manufacturer’s installation instructions alongside the bidet’s mounting and rough-in specifications.
